The customer service at the Altamonte, FL store was outrageous! We ordered two full mattresses and they delivered two Queens. The sales lady at the store, Kelly Garner, took the order over the phone and obviously did not take the order correctly. She refused to take ownership of her mistake and of course the phone conversation was not on a recorded line so it was her work against mine. The general manager sided with her and told my she is guilty of not putting in the correct order and this case is closed! The sales lady, Kelly Garner, consistently referred to my wife as "hey lady" and the general manager stated that is the way she talks to everyone. Not only is Hey Lady rude, it is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. After spending over $20,000 at this store in the past few years it is obvious that building relationships with clients means nothing. Also, in the past, we have spent hundreds on the warrenties and when we needed it they said that item is not covered. Horrible service and disrespectful staff after the purchase!!

If you like to create yourself a problem go to shop to City Furniture. I bought a bed and a couch. Payed for white glove service around 170 USD. Delivery people were very rude, they assembled the bed with mismatched side boards. Their "white glove delivery" was for a few minutes, did horrible job on a bed. They did not want to deliver the couch, because it was 4 floor. I offered them 40USD tip on a top of delivery fee. They were laughing at me and told me they do this for a living, I did not have more cash.I ask them how much they want. They were acting weird, pretend they will take the bed. When they left I realized that they never had the couch and actually they put wrong color of the side of the bed. I went back to the store wasted the entire day to complain. Next step was emails and phone calls with customer service and delivery department. They promised will replace the bed. They cancelled twice, because they did not have the right parts. Me and my husband wasted good 40 hours calling, waiting, arranging elevator in the building. Thanks God I payed with the credit card. That save, me and I cancelled the payment. It looks me few pictures and a long explanation. Yesterday I felt so happy City furniture people came and took their defective and cheap done bed, which was also smelling in chemicals. Thanks God I have never have the couch delivered and also I have my 170 USD for the worst delivery. I was really scared from the first delivery criminals. Customers be aware of this company and if you decide to buy something use your credit card. Thank you to Nady the customer service that she was listen patiently to me and shame on delivery manager, who came to take his bed that even did not apologize. Stella Stela

My mother ordered a dinning room set back in the middle of September. They' ve cancelled delivery over 7 times and then told her she would have to pay a restocking fee, so she went back to get another set and they've just cancelled delivery on this set. I believe they do this to older people, in order to upsell them and keep them paying, while not delivering anything.

Stand behind their products. And provide better customer service when there is a complaint and not get blown off

Do not buy from here their insurance is bull sh... do not buy insurance. It's a huge trap

We found the showroom and inventory on display very attractive, but did not find the sales associate to be engaged or knowledgeable. We subsequently purchased a bedroom set, a dining table and six chairs, and a sideboard. We later were told we could get the chairs in a couple weeks but it would be nearly two months for the table. They wanted us to accept the chairs before the table, but we deferred on them being delivered until the table could be delivered. The sideboard was going to be delivered until it was noted on the loading dock that it was damaged, and would not be available for several weeks as it was the last one in stock. The nightstand that came with the bed was damaged as was the next two that were delivered as replacements. We called repeatedly and no one would answer the phones at the store. We complained about this to the manager when we cancelled the order for the table, chairs and sideboard. He checked into it and found the staff had turned down the volume on the phone ringer. We have had two scheduled service calls for repairs to the nightstand where no one showed up and no call was received to say that our scheduled visits were cancelled. This has been a terrible experience. Still waiting for resolution of the nightstand issue and may need to just dispute the charge for it. We will never shop here again!

Horrible warranty from day 1. A total disappointment, a week after having our sectional of 5k , one of the recliner broke , plus the light on the console table stop working. I called service , a technician came after waiting for over two weeks. Then he try to repair on site the console light with a new one did not work either. The recliner bottom part somehow came defective broke in half. On top of everything we have to wait 3 months to get the new parts and they will try to fix it at home meaning if they can’t fix it then we will have to wait another month to get a new recliner. What is this… I guess they don’t have the part in the USA! Totally ridiculous and they just don’t care. I went back to the store in person once the furniture is delivered bad news it’s yours broke, defective or what ever. Paying so much with such sacrifice and what? I spoke to the store manager and warranty manager they just don’t care you need to sit and wait. I will never ever buy another piece furniture at City Furniture. Do your homework before buying at any store. Very sorry we didn’t do that!

This company has poor customer service and the worst drivers. They delivered a big heavy unit with only one guy. As he was laying it in my living room, he broke it and refused to take it. They came a second time to exchange it and the second unit unit was also defective. The driver refused to take it. They told me they would exchange it on Tuesday and after I took the day off, they called me and told me it would be Friday. I canceled my entire order and I’ll have to wait another week for them to take the broken piece of furniture from my living room.
