Unethical business practices
Based on my experience, City Furniture/City Home implements unethical sales practices in which they know they will deliver furniture somewhat different than what is shown in the showroom. They then try to frustrate their customers to give up on trying to correct the error despite following their precise instructions. In my opinion this is a combination of a low character culture as well as poor inventory/corporate controls. I recommend staying away from any of their stores and making purchases elsewhere. I wasted many hours trying to reasonably resolve the issue, created by their error, and they treated me with disrespect and they did not have any interest in their customer.
