I placed an order in May 2023. I still don’t have it. Every time I can for support, I get someone who says it’s not their department and passes me in. I paid in full and I actually think this is just a scam shell company that collects money and hires phone operators.

I had posted previous comment about dealing with City Furniture. My latest experience, however will insure we NEVER deal with City Furniture again and will post this on my personal sites so everyone I know will see what a Horrendous outfit City Furniture is. We purchased a power sofa and loveseat a little under 2 years ago. We also purchased an extended warranty for 3 years. The battery in the sofa more or less died last week. We called up and arranged for a tech to come out. He came out Friday installed a transformer temporarily and called in for a new battery for us which was supposed to be delivered Tuesday 01/09. I got a call today saying my warranty NOT ONLY DID NOT COVER THE BATTERY WHICH WAS $200, but there is a delivery charge which if I wanted to avoid I would have to drive approximately 70 miles round trip. I WONDER HOW MUCH WORSE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN TREATED BY CITY FURNITURE HAD WE NOT HAD THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. City Furniture you have seen the last and I will make it my business to see that everyone I know NEVER does business with you!!!

Purchased and expensive leather sofa end of September 2023. First night had trouble with headrest. Service rep came a week or so later and took care of problem. At that time we told him we thought battery for the motion sections was defective. He told us at that time that the battery was fine we just needed to charge it. We have been charging battery every 2 weeks (batteries are supposed to last 3 months). Then about 3-4 weeks later we noticed the sofa was puckering, had indentations, and wrinkling, it looked like we had it for several years. We contacted City Furniture and they scheduled an appointment (a couple of weeks later) for the service rep to come and check it out. He NEVER SHOWED UP! When we contacted City Furniture they told us the rep had filed a report and said he discussed this when he originally come out. This is an OUT RIGHT LIE!!!! This problem had not begun to surface at that time. We tried everything by the book. It got us nowhere!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH CITY FURNITURE!!!!! SPEND YOUR MONETY AT A RELIABLE, HONEST COMPANY!

city furniture advertised a in-store promotion...apply for a store credit card and upon approval use the card towards a purchase $1999...and receive a credit of $250.00 on your statement after 90Days. After 90 days and the balance was paid off on the purchase.. city furniture failed/refused to forward the credit. after filing a dispute for the amount with the credit card company and a complaint with the Florida Better Business Bureau... city furniture continues not TO correct the issue and Refuses to issue the credit AS ADVERSITED.... CLEARLY CITY FURNITURE SALES PRACTICES ARE DISHONEST AND MISSLEADING TO THE CONSUMER

DO NOT BUY FROM CITY FURNITURE! I Was sold a Bernhardt Leather Power Sectional Ainsley, after 6-8 weeks the leather has defects all over the sectional. It's not real leather. City Furniture has falsely advertised this product, after a $9K purchase and buying the extended warranty my sectional has imprints, puckering, crinkles all over. They do not stand behind their products and the repair guy/warranty was a no show. It's a total rip off. They have a policy that protects them not the customer. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY FURNITURE! BAD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH, THEY DO NOT HONOR THERE PRODUCTS.

I was shopping for dining tables and saw a dining table in their showroom. After giving it some thought, I decided to go with this Company's product and bought it online. It was delivered on time and after being assembled, I was told by customer service to get in touch with them within 1-3 days if there was anything wrong with it. I immediately got in touch with them 2 hours after receiving it as when i looked under the table, there was a big chip on the base and scuff marks under the table top. I sent pics of the damage to their online customer service to file a claim. I was told they're gonna send a replacement on the next weekend, December 23, Saturday, delivery day, comes around and received a call 2 hours before estimated/expected time that item was on back order and they could't deliver it that day. Got in touch with customer service and was told I won't be able to exchange it with a different table, if I return it then I will be charged a restocking fee and also if I am willing to keep the table as is and they'll give me discount points. I declined the discount points because I was willing to purchase this new $1000 table and with the expectation that it doesn't come damaged. If I was looking for a discounted table with some damages, I would have opted to purchase at the clearance section or OfferUp. I wanted them to replace it with a new one. Customer service gave me a new delivery date for Dec 30. Now here we are, and the same thing happened as the last time. This time I am livid! I called customer service again and the table top is back ordered till Feb 2024! Customer service couldn't answer some of my questions and they're just giving me the run around. Once I got off the phone with them, I gave American Express a call to file a claim and dispute the charge on my credit card. Now it's going to be on their hands and hopefully they'll resolve it within 2 weeks. Lesson learned for sure! Never buy at City Furniture! I couldn't warn you enough. You'll only get frustrated and stressed out!

If it were up to me I would give it 0 stars, don't buy here, everything is a scam, from the service that is zero towards the customer, to the quality of the furniture, I paid for a delivery to the 5th floor and it supposedly couldn't fit through the elevator , but they couldn't go up more than three floors either, so the store, apart from charging you, is not responsible for two more floors, I had to pay out of my pocket for that bad service, where they then charge me a tax for the cancellation, but also not They want to give me my money back.

The sales person Sean was just wonderful, he did whatever it took to make the purchase experience easy, informational. Sean was kind respectful, knowledgeable. I highly recommend City Furniture.
