Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Not only did I get a great deal on cat food a few months ago. I was really impressed that they handwrote me a postcard thanking me for being a customer and inviting me to the "chewy family". Things like that go a long way and are much appreciated. I'll be shopping here from now on for any pet supplies.

I have been a Chewy customer for about 6-8 months and have been impressed with every encounter. Fast shipping! Great customer service and a GREAT refund policy.

Seriously, I am overwhelmed with joy right now. One of my cats is in need of a prescription diet now, so I found Chewy.com online. I accidentally ordered the wrong type of food, and they called me instantly, letting me know it was incorrect and walked me through the different options for my cat that the vet recommended, and fixed my order right there on the phone. Justin was SO knowledgeable about the products which was very impressive, on top of being extremely friendly, kind and helpful. My cat will be on this diet for the rest of his life and I am happy to have found Chewy.com to order from, always. The site is also easy to navigate, tons of options, tons of deals, and the orders ship out super fast. I am so pleased with this company and its staff. They are the real deal and they are what every company should be like-- it would make the world a better place! Thank you! -Your new loyal customer:)

I accidentally ordered some Frontline that was at the wrong dosage for my 43-lb. dog. In addition, I didn't realize that we still had a good supply of Frontline in the correct dosage at home. Called Chewy.com to get a return authorization, only to be told that they would be refunding me for the item, and that I should just donate the Frontline to a local pet shelter/ rescue! Amazing!

I have a big dog and he needs a lot of food, most stores are expensive for the big packages of dog food. I was happy to see cheap prices for a great amount of food and my dog loved it

This is no review of the products themselves, but if you buy something breakable, be aware that they do an absolutely horrible job of packaging. The first time I bought a stoneware dog bowl, and they sent it to me in a padded envelope. Needless to say, it was chipped. The customer service was excellent and he had a new one shipped out immediately. He said he would make a note for them to use a box, which they didn't. The replacement was also in a padded envelope, but this time they wrapped the bowl in more bubble wrap and it made it intact. Then last week I ordered five stoneware dog treat cannisters. They came in a box where each one was inside a bubblewrap bag, and there was a little kraft paper to take up extra space on one side of the box, but that was it. No air bags or bubblewrap between the breakable cannisters or the sides of the box. No padding on top. And the contents came to about 1/2 inch from the top of the box, so anything heavy thrown on top of the box would of course break them. 2 out of the 5 were broken. Again they sent out replacements immediately, but it's hard to believe the shipping department is that clueless as to package breakables this way.

I discovered Chewy just over a year ago. I was astonished at their low prices. I feed 5 indoor and 3 of 4 remaining outdoor ferals. Chewy prices are significantly below that of 2 large chain pet stores. There is a wonderful private store near me that has prices comparative to Chewy. But, Chewy often has sales on their already low prices. I stock up at those times. My first order was for 2 carriers that were too big for transporting cats to the vet. When I called their wonderful customer service, I was directed on how to return the items. I was emailed a return label which I adhered to the original packaging. Drove a mile to UPS and got it in the mail - return shipping paid by Chewy. When I place an order I receive an email confirmation immediately. Additionally, I often receive an email within hours or less after that - reading that my order has already shipped. Any purchase over $49 allows for free shipping. It is always sent at warp speed. Just be very careful - I often browse Chewy to see which of my products may be on sale. I get a tad excited and have become a bit of a Chewy impulse buyer - even though the food will be eaten or the litter used. It's quite an addicting site - but in a good way.

I never write reviews but I have to share my experience today. I have been ordering from Chewy for a while now and today was my first messed up order. They forgot my dog food and only sent the cat food. I expected to be on the line forever trying to get my order right but I was pleasantly surprised. It took them less than two minutes to place a replacement order for me. I have to say they have the most amazing customer service ever!
