The website needs to improve how it handles gift cards, especially for guest accounts. I had two $50 gift cards, but the system only allowed me to use one during checkout as a guest. When I tried to create an actual account afterward, the unused gift card was no longer accessible because it was tied to the guest session. Customer service was no help, and I wasn’t able to speak to anyone higher up. Now, I’m out $50 with no resolution. This is a frustrating experience and makes me hesitant to shop here again.

I applaud Chewy for how serious they are about customer service, satisfaction, and standing behind the products they sell. Keep up the good work.

I have always rated Chewy 5 star. granted that has more to do with the customer service people who are always kind. Yesterday that kindness was overshadowed by an authoritarian device inside their business process, supposedly to "protect" my account. It was BS and I ended up having to call my daughter to order from the grocery store. Here's what happen: I tried to get an auto ship set up using my husband's phone. we are out of the country and are using a different international roaming service, not my phone. I guess that was flag #1 for them and they cancelled the order saying it was suspicious. Tried again using a past order from my account, flag #2. It looked like it worked, but a few minutes later they cancelled it again. By now we appear to be very corrupt senior citizens. Our animals are being cared for by a charity and, as I said we are in another country and the kids were out of food. I started to panic a little. So we called directly and thought we straightened it all out, but two things happened that infuriated me: 1. They charged me $40.00 more than the original order ; 2. They said they would send the order out after it had gone through A REVIEW PROCESS FROM THEIR REVIEW BOARD...WHAT??? Is Chewy now under the scrutiny of the DOJ? Will my animals be deported? Then my bank said there was way too much suspicious activity and would not allow any more transactions until they had a chance to REVIEW what was going on. Remind me to change banks. It was WtF bank btw. Now my kids have no food or no food on the way. Grrrrrr...I had to call my daughter to send the order from a grocery store who delivered right away. So Chewy, not reliable, not reasonable, not ever again

Chewy is always so kind when we need to reach out to their customer service team and packages always ship very timely.

Pharmacy order (expected in 3-4 days) was 10 days in transit using OnTrac. When it was still only several days late, I called Chewy but was told I would have to wait three more days before any action could be taken. After the three additional days I called and requested an overnight shipment of a replacement. I was told that could not be guaranteed, and sure enough, 6 days later the replacement hadn’t even shipped. I won’t use Chewy Pharmacy again.

I love chewy so much. I have used them for my 5 pets over the last 6-7 years. They have amazing customer service. Very rarely do I have an issue but when I do they jump on and fix it right away. They have even fixed issues I never reported. The auto ship is wonderful and delivers fast. They are always running some kind of deal. Truly the best and I couldnt be happier with this company. They also send cards on your pets birthday and give you a discount for a birthday treat. Sadly one of my pets passed and they reached out with condolences as well. I recommend chewy to all pet owners.

Generous company. If you receive a package by error they say you can keep it or donate and send a donation form on their behalf. Email responses are speedy and kind.

I had previously used Chewy for authorship but recently even though I had skipped several orders they still sent them all anyway. I had to stop using them because they just send what they want not what you want. That’s Bad.
