Chewys customer service is top tier. Their customer support over the phone was incredibly passionate about me welcoming a new puppy to my home and they even sent me a complimentary letter, tennis ball, and bandana for my puppy! I did not even expect this gift. I will continue to purchase my dogs needs from Chewy, especially because of their cheaper prices than Amazon and Walmart (especially for food). However, the other reviews are correct about their packaging. The packaging wasn’t the best in the world and they ship with FedEx. Luckily my order didn’t have anything fragile. FedEx is a poor delivery service in my area and they NEVER deliver directly to my apartment door and instead deliver to the main entrance door to my apartment complex (not Chewys fault). I do appreciate the delivery speed and I still would not be nervous about damaged goods because I am confident that their customer service would cover any damaged items if they are damaged by FedEx.

Canceled my autoship for prescription food after my little dog passed. Received a sympathy bouquet today, a lovely gesture that was very much appreciated! Thank you Chewy!

Beware of Chewy.com Autoship will resend immediately, wont allow you to cancel, and you will receive nothing from Chewy for their "error" other than waithing 3-6 days for your money back and a trip across town to fedex to return package. 30lb bag of Blue Buffalo dog food I paid $72.99+ tax for with a discount for auto ship. Set the auto ship for 12 weeks and 3 weeks later got an email saying it was preparing for shipment. I canceled the auto ship immediately and received confirmation email saying it was canceled even though my card had already been charged $76. Two days later on a Sunday I get call from Fedex saying they were trying to deliver to my PO box. Told them to return to sender and they said they couldn't. Arrived at PO Box and picked up a couple days later by me. Called Chewy and told them what happened. Guy on phone didn't sound too surprised. They told me I had to drive the 30lb bag of dog food over to Fedex location to return to them, offering nothing for my inconvenience. If I recall correctly the first time I ordered from them the same way, I had to cancel my auto ship twice. Coincidence? Not likely. They know there's nothing I can do about it , but return the package costing them only return shipping. It's likely they make more money off people who are too lazy or too busy to return the package, so they just keep doing it.

I have genuinely NEVER had such an amazing customer service experience. I had to call to return an item i ordered on accident and it was immediately answered BY A REAL PERSON!!! AND HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE AN INDIAN ACCENT!!! WHAT?!?! That's so crazy in today's world. They also have such a large selection of so far in my experience very high quality items. I will be using Chewy for literally all of my pet needs for the rest of my life that was amazing.

This is my 1st time with Chewy and even signed up. Well went to spend the $50 to get $25 card they declined me saying I already have a account and ordered cat food a year ago like how is that possible if I just adopted my cats and this is the 1st time I even adopted a pet. Well they lost a 1st time customer and didn't care about loosing one. Went to Petsmart instead instead.

I submitted a 2 star review for a product that didn't meet the listed specs. I sent them an email at 11pm on a weekday to say I wanted to do a return, and I had a reply less than five minutes later apologizing and I was refunded the total, no questions asked. The items for return are being donated to a shelter. Amazing customer service! And I can get things here that are hard to find elsewhere. Their prices are competitive too.

I have used Chewy for years and years and never had even a slight problem They carry a HUGE variety of products at prices comparable or less than other outlets. Shipping time is always fast and accurate and their Customer Service is truly outstanding. I highly recommend Chewy for your pet's needs.

This has to be about the third or fourth time where I've specifically specified a ship date. Why do I do that? Well maybe I'm not going to be home and I don't want it delivered earlier. I don't want dog food in cans sitting outside on my front porch in sun. How hard is it for these people to abide by the parameters of the orders that were put in? If I choose a ship date. That's the one I want. No exceptions abide by it or I'll take my business elsewhere.
