Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Chewy is truly a company with a heart. ❤️ I had been using Chewy’s Autoship service for a long time to receive dog food and health-care products for my beloved dog, Lucky. After Lucky passed away, I never expected to receive such a thoughtful and meaningful package from Chewy. Inside was a beautiful sympathy card and a special stone painted with Lucky’s name on it. 🐾💔 It was such a touching surprise that it brought tears to my eyes. At a time when I was missing Lucky so much, this unexpected gesture brought me comfort and reminded me how much our pets mean to us. Thank you, Chewy, for your kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness. This meant more to me than you probably realize. -Rae

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chewy deserves 5 stars! 🐰💗 My rabbit Rain’s package was delivered incorrectly, and when I contacted Chewy, they immediately looked into it and sent a replacement without making me jump through hoops. They even gave me a $5 credit/refund, which was such a nice surprise! I love that Chewy genuinely seems to care about pets and making sure they get what they need. They handled the whole situation so quickly and kindly. Thank you for taking care of me and my bun!🐰📦💗

I had entered the wrong address for my order. I contacted customer service and the corrected my error in seconds

Chewy has been my go to for pet supply needs for several years. I have never had any negative issues with products or shipping. Orders come very quickly.

Site was easy to navigate and check out process was a breeze.

I am extremely disappointed with Chewy’s handling of prescription Autoship orders. This is the SECOND time Chewy has placed a $189 hold on my bank account for my dog’s Apoquel even though they did not yet have the required prescription authorization from my veterinarian and therefore were not ready to ship the medication. Seeing $189 taken out of my available bank balance led me to reasonably believe that the prescription had been approved and the Apoquel was on its way. It wasn’t. I eventually searched through my emails and discovered that Chewy was still waiting for the prescription authorization. Meanwhile, my dog has been suffering terribly from itching while I’ve been waiting for medication that I believed had already been processed and was being shipped. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the $189 was only an authorization hold and that it could take up to 48 hours for the funds to become available again. Whether Chewy considers this a “charge” or a “hold,” the practical result for me is the same: $189 of my money is unavailable even though Chewy cannot yet fill or ship the prescription. I understand placing an authorization hold when an order is actually ready to be processed. What I do NOT understand is placing a $189 hold before Chewy has even obtained the prescription required to fill the order. This has now happened to me twice. For a company selling important prescription medication for pets, this process needs to change.

I was a very happy customer for years...their fast shipping and great customer service was awesome. Well I think I'm done with Chewy. My order stated "out for delivery" all day yesterday...no delivery. Enter the chat and every response was apologies and excuses..no solution except for "we'll check on it occasionally". Thanks for nothing Chewy.

Chewy must have hundreds of thousands of customers. I let them know that my dog passed away (to stop his medications) and they sent me flowers. What an amazing company.
