Really enjoyed ordering here at first, had our dog's food set up for autoship every 4 weeks. Everything went smoothly until this month when I noticed there was a billing issue on my account. Lo and behold, I had FOUR pre-auth's in my bank account from Chewy's which unnecessarily tied up hundreds of $$. When I called customer service, all she could tell me was that they only saw 2 pre auth's on their end. Well that's funny, because I'm looking at my account right now and if you had not just tied up the money with 4 pre-authorizations then the funds would have been there! Now I must wait 1-5 business days for those charges to drop off. Immediately canceled my future auto ships, will not be continuing with them. I'd rather pay the extra $$ from Amazon.

Customer Service is the best of any company I have ever dealt with. They go above and beyond to help! It lifted my spirits after dealing with others not so cooperative. They always deliver in time with quality products. They are unmatched in flexibility and generosity! Love these people. Will not use anyone else.

I have ordered from Chewy only 3 times. Was really happy with their products. My last order however, did not work for me ( through no fault of Chewy). Called them to see about their return policy. What a surprising, pleasant surprise. Not only was the young lady answering the phone, super friendly and helpful, but she told me not to send the item back, but to donate it to a local shelter. Whaaat? How caring can you get? She also will credit my account with my cost of the item. Chewy, you have a customer for life.

I placed an order for $232.00 and change. A couple of days later my bank account was short almost $200.00. There was a debit for $180.00 from chewy.com. I did not place 2 orders so I called chewy.com and was told that they put a hold on my account for the total and then deduct the order as it ships and the hold will be put back after 2 to 5 business days. So if your going to buy here be ready to have double the funds held for up to 5 business days. They list my business as I have been purchasing here for 2 years and this is new.

I've been ordering from Chewy on a regular basis since rescuing our puppy. The rate of delivery and quality of products is definitely high standard. The 1 time I've had a question in regard to an item that was delivered I got an immediate response from 2 of their customer service representatives. My question was met with good humor and a very nice surprise replacement of the product free of charge. I recommend this company to anyone with a pet

Chewy used to be my go-to place for all my pet needs. But in recent months, they have become very sloppy when handling orders. I have had repeated orders where items were damaged because heavy items were placed in alongside fragile items with no cushioning or just some brown paper. Customer service does handle the issue, but even their customer service has been lacking lately in politeness and solutions. I suggested that they let tell their packers to pack items more carefully and was told that cannot be done. Who needs the hassle of repeatedly receiving damaged goods and then having to repeatedly email to get items replaced? I certainly don't. Chewy's prices used to be cheaper than other online stores, but not so much any more. You can shop elsewhere for pretty much the same prices and free shipping without the hassle.

Chewy is a great company to order pet food and supplies. I find all the information on studying brands of food, something important to me. All orders are shipped timely. One time, a package of dog food had an accidental slit with some dog food coming out into the packing. I called Chewy and they sent me a new bag with same day fast shipping. Chewy has good prices and often many sales. Thank you, Chewy and also SMILES for your charity donations.
