Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Pharmacy @ Chewy.com is quite another story. Disaster in how expensive chemotherapeutic drug arrived and that disaster was only compounded by the lack of customer service when I called for resolution. Will continue using the pet food, treats, toys etc. division as they are stellar, which is why the pharmacy portion was such a disappointment. Expected so much more. Will not reorder here.

I purchase food, treats and supplies for our dogs and cats. As an individual consumer, I think a rather sizeable order every eight weeks. My main purpose for using Chewy.com is so I don't have to go to the store to get all of it and then lug it to the house. Chewy, com is suppose to have "delivery to the door" delivery service. I've been using Chewy.com for probably about a year now and at first the deliveries were "to the door". Fantastic ! This is exactly what I wanted. Well the last couple of deliveries have been to the end of the driveway and not to the door. I have called Fedex (who is the delivery service for Chewy.com in my area) and I was told they would send the driver back to my house to properly deliver it. Of course no one ever shower up. I also called Chewy.com to complain to them. While the customer service rep. was very helpful and seemed concerned, she did confirm that Chewy.com has contracted with their delivery partners for "to the door service" she seemed powerless to correct this problem. Not having these boxes delivered to my door kind of defeats the purpose of using Chewey.com. If I have to go to the end of my driveway and get the boxes and then bring them to my house, I might as well go the rest of the way to the store and just buy it there. I feel I am paying for the convenience of having the products I am buying delivered to my door and I am not getting that. When I was buying these items from Amazon there was never a problem. Now there seems to be. Bottom line, if you expect door to door service, you may not get it. I am now considering other options for these purchases.

My order was paid for and confirmed Friday evening with an email stating the heartworm medicine would be shipped Monday with a Wednesday delivery date. My dog is heartworm positive and her due date was Wednesday. As of Tuesday there was no communication from Chewy informing me of a delay and after two phone calls it still took an additional two days to ship. This was not acceptable for something so important and Chewy had no apologies for the situation. Never again will I use this site.

So upset, I purchased the American Journey dog food on the buy one get one free special. Today, only one bag showed up via auto ship. I contacted customer service. They just said The deal is over”. When in fact, both bags were in my cart. They weren’t willing to correct their error. I am so disappointed with their lack of care and customer service. No longer a chewy fan. Feel scammed.

I love Chewy...after ordering the wrong size crate mat, I called to reorder the proper size. I spoke with Danielle, and she was so nice, pleasant and helpful. After giving my information and reordering, I was waiting on the return instructions. THERE WERE NONE! DANIELLE SAID "DONATE THE INCORRECT ONE TO A SHELTER OR GOOD CAUSE"! WHO DOES THAT?!?! I LOVE CHEWY! Linda from Alabama

Chewy is such an amazing company! The first time I purchased an item from the site, not only was the item shipped the same day but I also received a handwritten letter in the mail thanking me for my purchase! Now if that is not great customer service, then I don't know what is. I then purchased a bag of puppy food for my new pup, but after I took him to the vet they informed me it was not a great choice for him. After requesting a return label, they told me to just donate the bag of food to an animal shelter and that they would refund my credit card. I am just blown away! I will be a customer for life.

We had been customers of Chewy’s for many years as we were cat parents of a beloved cat. Over 2 years ago sadly we lost our fur baby to cancer 😞😿. It was a terrible shock to us as he was not diagnosed with cancer but a disease that was treatable so we expected him to recover. All I did was call Chewy one day to ask them to kindly remove us from their mailing list and I explained why. From that moment we received an outpouring of such love, care and concern that was so unbelievably amazing! It did my heart good to know there are such good, kindhearted people in this world. Any company that hires such caring and compassionate people is an AWESOME company!! What other company would send hand written notes in cards, beautiful flowers, hand painted portraits? I will answer that: None!! If you own a dog or cat please consider purchasing your supplies from this AMAZING company with the BEST Cutomer Service Team on the planet!!

Chewy has great customer service and FAST shipping. I recently purchased a food that requires a prescription for my dog. I sent Chewy my dog's prescription at 3:00 p.m. yesterday (which was a Sunday), and it was shipped by 7:45 last night and delivered by 6:00 p.m. today. We will continue to order from Chewy in the future!
