Broken Promises
On Monday, November 1, I was advised via email that my order for three prescriptions for my dog's heart were being shipped that day. Which was fine, because I figured that I would receive the order no later than Saturday, November 6. However, three days later, I received another email from Chewy advising me that there was some problem with my shipment. So when I called Chewy Customer Service last Thursday, November 4, they advised me that the shipment hadn't been picked up yet, so they were sending me a replacement order. However, before the replacement order was shipped, the original order was shipped out in the afternoon of the 4th, shipped to Reno on the 5th and scheduled to be delivered to me on the 8th, which is two days later than I needed one of the three medications. Earlier today, November 8, I received another email notification from Chewy stating that the replacement order was shipping today and that it should arrive on Wednesday. When I checked today on Chewy's website regarding the status of my original order, which was supposed to be delivered today, it stated that the order was being returned to Chewy. I was blowing a gasket after reading that and of course then called Chewy, only to be told that the original order was being returned because they have shipped the replacement order. Get real, my dog has been missing the one medication for the past couple of days, and now she won't have it until Wednesday? On Wednesday, Chewy will probably say they haven't shipped it yet. I got a $20 gift card from Chewy for making the original purchase, so I will have to do one refill to utilize the gift card, but after that, I am done with Chewy.
