I dealt with Chewy for a few years usually they were prompt and helpful, despite a few shipping issues, with damaged items. Recently their delivery service FedEx started dumping the packages hundreds of feet from the house, near a main road, too lazy to drive to the house, on piles of snow, or under trees, I discussed this problem with them a few times, but it wasn’t solved. I terminated my business relationship with them and cancel my autoships for my pets. I order everything I need from other places at a lower cost and delivered to my door step, goodby Chewy!

I can't say enough good things about chewy! They've always been nothing short of excellent and caring!! I Had forgotten to change my older pups food to something smaller for his teeth, and with auto ship didn't realize it till it came. Needless to say, I wasn't sure if they were able to help me since it was already at my house but they gave me a refund and the BEST part is, they asked if I am able to donate the sent bag to an animal shelter close by. I said absolutely!! That was the most amazing thing and shows how awesome, thoughtful and amazing this company is. They will forever have my business, whether it's treats, dog food, toys and beds.

I have had good experiences with Chewy, but not with their delivery partner - FedEx. I recently ordered dog food and the first delivery attempt indicated "incorrect address" which is ridiculous as it is the same address I used for years. Called Chewy and the said it would arrive the next day. Unfortunately, it didn't. I called this morning and cancelled my order as I don't expect it to arrive anytime soon. I don't wont to buy dog food that has been sitting in a delivery truck for 4 days. Sometimes brick and mortar is the way to go...

The best customer service I have ever experienced! And, I really mean the best. This company sincerely cares about its customers and will respond immediately to any concern or question. They are easily reachable whether by email or phone. They also are truly animal advocates. Their personalized email responses are always written directly to you as an individual and replete with uplifting and fun references to your pets. If I have ever had a problem with, for instance, cat food or dog food (such as needing a replacement type for health reasons, etc) and I have asked to return it, they have been kind enough to issue me a refund and asked me to donate it to a shelter. I have done this each and every time. The SPCA is beyond grateful!. Chewy.com is so dedicated to this philosophy of helping animals, that it goes beyond great Customer Service. When both of my dogs passed away, they sent me a personal note of condolences along with a magnificent bouquet of flowers in a vase. They care. They absolutely care about their customers and the well-being of your animals. This attitude and practice can always be traced back to the top. I’m not sure who the CEO is, but I should probably write a personal note of thanks to them and each and every one of the customer service reps. One more thing… Unlike so many companies which give their employees very little discretionary power and insist on following instruction books and rules without any interpretation, these reps are able to find resolutions that are sound and keep customers coming back. Their decisions benefit the customer and obviously, the company.

Everything is ok except there is a huge hole in my bird feed it looks like something to a bite of of it and of course the bird seeds were all over the package

Chewy is an amazing company. My last auto ship order did not show up. I received a message stating it was delivered but it was not at our door an hour later when we got home. I called Chewy to place the order again. The rep I spoke with immediately put in the reorder at no charge and said they will start a "ticket" with Fed Ex. I received the order 2 days later. I have been a Chewy customer go years now and have nothing but good experiences with them.

Great customer service. Even if you break the product, they’ll still provide full refund and pay for shipping, at least with my order.

Chewy never had any functionality on updating vet info for your pets that mess up their great auto-ship on prescriptions. It causes the unwanted call to the old vet, them calling me, I am calling Chewy only to give them the same info that I did 6 months ago for 5 of my pets, and results in delays on shipping in the end and creates a lot of unnecessary stress with an order every single time! This had been 5 years since I MOVED my pets to a different vet! Yet it is also years that chewy still doesn't have an option to update their vet info. Every six months, for the past 5 years, I am just simply tired of calling and telling them to update their vet info. Taking my 4 dogs and cat prescriptions elsewhere as they are way too painful with chewy. I don't know even why I waited this long to be honest in hopes they fix their site.
