Consistently great service and delivery speed. I love their social media marketing too, so friendly. Definitely prefer shopping here versus Amazon. Only wish their website was better designed with easier filters and ways to find things.

Chewy customer service is top tier! When FedEx continually messed up delivery of my order, Chewy was SO prompt and courteous in working to make sure I received my order no matter what. No questions asked, they immediately issued re-order and apologized for any inconvenience despite the error not being on their behalf. Phone calls to customer service were answered quickly by a polite representative, never an automated response or answering service. Each representative I spoke with asked about my pet and were so friendly. It's not often you leave a customer service experience satisified, but better yet - happier than before you called! So, thank you Chewy for your outstanding customer service and dedication to our pets.

One of the best and safer pet companies. the website deals are great and they actually have pet items that are needed and good for animals. They're also in incredibly well mannered as I have nothing ever missing in my orders, and I am yet to experience the pharmacy side of the website. (They also remember your pets b-day :)

Chewy is great! I have a sheepdog Basil AKA Goose who’s 10 months now. Highly recommend getting dog food and worm medicine from Chewy. Heavy dog food at good price gets dropped off right to your door (I use Rachel Ray, they have a huge selection whatever you may choose), and worm medicine way more affordable on Chewy. Tons of stuff for your good boy on Chewy at comparable or better prices. What prompted me to write this review is their customer service. I ordered a dog bed from Chewy but ended up finding one I liked more at Marshall’s. I called to cancel my order but they couldn’t stop the shipment in time (not their fault). I called back today, they gave me my refund, and they told me I could donate the dog bed to a shelter! Such a blessing. Can’t wait to go to the shelter and give this bed to a little buddy in need. Chewy loves our pets. Anyone I’ve ever talked to on the phone is so nice and helpful. This is a great company. Will be with them for life. Julie from Charleston, SC 12/2022

UPDATE: So the gift certificate didn't arrive as promised on Christmas day. I called today 12/26/22 to inquire as to it's whereabouts and was greeted by a nice gentleman who told me there seemed to be a payment hold on PayPal's end. So, I checked with PayPal and learned that authorization had indeed been granted on the date I ordered the card and they (PayPal) were waiting for Chewy to process it so payment could be rendered. The gentleman told me to hold and he would get a supervisor on the line to straighten things out. After 5 minutes or so of listening to repeated ads, the line went dead. As Chewy had my phone number, I expected and waited for a return call. Guess what? It never happened! Several hours later I received another email stating that I again needed to call Chewy to verify my order!!! You can't make this stuff up! This company is a total joke!!! Called once again and spoke with a representative who wanted to transfer me to a supervisor. Thankfully this time, I was connected with someone, and after once again verifying my information, I was assured that the gift card would be received sometime today. I have since received an email from Chewy saying that the eCard has been sent but I haven't yet been able to verify this with my daughter. My advice still stands, stay away from this company. There are enough horror stories to warrant seeking an alternative, and there are plenty of them. My Story: Created account to send my daughter an emailed gift card as a Christmas gift, that is to be sent to her on Christmas Day, as a surprise (Hopefully it gets to her!). Payment was made via Paypal and processed immediately according to my bank, yet I received an email from the company stating I needed to call about my order. Called this morning and spoke with a young lady who was very matter of fact, not warm or friendly (in my opinion) yet professional, right up until the point she hung up on me, apparently because she didn't want to hear my rant any longer. I was not rude, I didn't use foul language and even apologized for taking my frustration out on her for needing to take valuable time out of my work schedule to "process" an order that apparently had already been processed (again, according to my bank). Of course, she didn't hear that apology because she had already, unbeknownst to me, hung up! There is absolutely no reason that I should have to create an account, provide personal information (name, email address, etc.) so that I can be added to an email list that they may then sell to other companies, so I can be inundated with spam, all to provide an emailed gift card to my daughter who for some reason has chosen to utilize their services. The amount of the card was not huge and should not have been viewed as a fraud risk since the payment was PayPal verified. I should have been able to accomplish this simply as a guest, as many, many other internet-based companies do. My experience with the company, to say the least, has been unfortunate. And I encourage folks to research other services of this type rather than give Chewy the benefit of your business.

I am a huge proponent of reading reviews for the purpose of determining whether to try, use, or trust a particular brand, company, product, etc. I often write reviews, both positive and negative, to assist those who, like myself, seek out helpful feedback. Today, I have to say that CHEWY.COM has earned not only my respect for their customer service, but also for the compassionate care and outreach they offered our family at our difficult time. I contacted customer service seeing that we had been charged an extremely large amount for an upcoming delivery. When I spoke with the customer service representative, Melissa, I told her that I had already canceled the delivery ages ago, and more recently had canceled the medication, because our eldest fur baby had passed away just days ago. Understand, I called the customer service line after midnight, because my husband and I were up fighting Covid in addition to grieving. Melissa not only handled the monetary situation immediately, but took the time to ask about how WE were doing. She asked how our pack was and if we were in need of anything. She helped with the account, and arranged it so that we would no longer have anything surprise us, yet continued to make me feel like I mattered. This was enough to impress both my husband and me. Imagine our surprise when we received a delivery of flowers and a condolence message from Melissa and the Chewy Family two days later! This truly touched our hearts. Our fur baby still hasn’t made it home, but we have beautiful flowers until he gets here. Needless to say, Chewy.com has customers for life. Thank you Melissa and Chewy.com for your kindness and support. You have truly touched our hearts.
