Chewy delayed and ultimately cancelled my order for vet prescribed high fiber cat food. They send emails saying they "don't worry, we will contact your vet" which is not true. Then they say, your vet didn't respond, again, not true. The they say we aren't allowed to contact your vet? Really, which is it? I'm so incredibly frustrated when all I want to do is get my cats diarrhea cleared up with vet recommended cat food.

Around this time last year I was sent a 3 months supply of medication for my dog instead of the 1 month supply we usually receive. putting the price close to $300. I decided it must have been a one time mistake so I didn't call about it. I just skipped the auto ship for the fallowing 2 months. Fast forward to a year later. It is 2 weeks before Christmas and they sent me 3 individual prescription's instead of the 1. Not only that I had two cards on file. One of the cards has not been used in almost a year. The payment automatically comes out of the primary card on file. When I received the 3 orders one was charged to the proper card and the other two were charged to the card that has not been used in a year. When I called Chewy they apologized said they will see what happened and put me on hold. They ended up disconnecting the call after I was on hold for 10 or so minutes. I am curious if this has happened to other people. I almost wonder if they needed to hit yearly sales quotas so they "accidentally" over send prescriptions at the end of the year to hit sales. That is just a speculation. However, I find it interesting that this happened around the same time both times. I will no longer be using chewy for medications.

I placed an order early December (the 7th to be exact) for a personalized tag I was giving as a gift. Today 12/15 I received an email stating my order was cancelled. I immediately emailed their customer service and I got a response of “Due to suspicious activity” email stated to call their customer service. I called and the lady who answered was apologetic but not seriously. She kept trying to laughing saying that the order was cancelled but not cancelled??! She said their system detects certain things as suspicious activity and that the order wasn’t cancelled but then saying it was. Couldn’t make herself straight. She said I should have received an email asking to call when order was placed but I did not received it. I only got my order confirmation and another stating they would let me know when it ships out. I told her I ordered early enough to get before Christmas and now I wont and she said well you can order again and pay extra for shipping. Ummm no! I don’t want to pay extra that’s why I had ordered early December. Anyways, I asked if she could help with reorder it and she claimed she couldn’t because it made her so nervous as it was personalized. I just told her to cancel all and I would rather order else where. She really didn’t provide good customer service and seemed more as if she didn’t care and laughed about the situation. I know its noting that serious but it was to me as I wanted to gift this to my mom for her new kitten. I have order multiple times from Chewy and NEVER had any issues. Was pretty upsetting that I got no where with this. Not sure I’ll be ordering again from this company and its sad because so many people I know say how great they are. Thanks

They have always displayed excellent customer service, but been nothing but kind in helping me deal with my account for my baby who passed away. And today, I recieved a dozen roses and a note of condolence. How many large companies display that kind of compassion nowadays. The world would be a better place with more Chewys in it.

Chewy has the best customer appreciation, customer service, shipping, and deals.

I always loved Chewy - their customer service is great. Their phone center is helpful. Their fulfillment center, however, is terrible. I had an order on autofill, and I only received one thing out of about six. I was billed for the entire order. I'll be canceling my order with them after (and if) I finally receive the items I've already paid for.

I’ve been a long time customer and I’ve never had any issues with them. They ship fast and always have exactly what I need. But that’s not where the 5 star rating is coming from. I recently had to say goodbye to doggy Nala. She was my everything and it was extremely difficult. I sent an email to Chewy explaining the situation because I was receiving emails with her name in it and it was emotionally draining. They immediately sent a response that was absolutely the kindest thing I’ve received from a company. They not only said they were sorry for my loss, but ensured me that if I needed emotional support, they were there for me. I will be forever grateful for that. They are truly a company that cares about their customers and their fur babies.

Amazing company. We spoke with Jennifer and she was able to help us with canceling our auto ship and refunding unopened food after our dog Teagan passed away very unexpectedly. A week after she passed, Jennifer and Chewy sent me a dozen yellow roses with a card expressing their condolences. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service. We recently adopted a new puppy and we will definitely be continuing to use Chewy for all her needs!
