taking my money but my appointments keep getting canceled
This is a thread from my email to their support team... "Hi, I wanted to ask about an adjustment to the charges for my services. So far I've had one meeting with a nurse that was suppose to prescribe meds as needed (back in July or Aug. / I don't remember our date) but she said she wanted to refer me to someone else to do the prescription. That person didn't have availability until Nov 10th so that is 3 months without having access to an potential meds. Then the councilor (who is lovely and I did like talking to) just canceled my appointment set for tomorrow and doesn't have any other time to talk to me until late Oct. (a month away)So the monthly fee I am being charged doesn't actually reflect any services I'm receiving. Do I get a refund for these months I'm not actually getting services?" From cerebral: "Thank you for your email. I am truly sorry for any confusion surrounding our billing policy and would like to provide some clarification regarding your concerns. We bill on a subscription model, which means there is a monthly recurring fee based on the date that you sign up for our services. During the registration process, you agree and authorize the payment method to be billed beginning on the date of registration and subsequently on a monthly basis, regardless of whether the assessment is completed or services are rendered. You can find additional information regarding this policy on our website at the following link: getcerebral com recurring-billing-policy/ (broken link since this site doesn't allow links in review) I hope this information is helpful. My providers have been pushing my appointment dates so I’m not receiving treatment but also being charged. Despite any payment agreements I may have signed when I first signed up for your services this doesn’t seem ethical. It very much seems like a strategy for skimming money from potential clients. Withholding treatment as a business model? Also the term subscription implies payment for goods or services that occur at regular intervals. I’m not receiving any part of the services I’m being charged for in the subscription that I signed up for in good faith.
