I wish Cerebral would show available appointment times before making the consumer commit to a monthly subscription fee of $30/month. I did not end up continuing with Cerebral because their soonest appointment was nearly 3 weeks out when I went to book an appointment and other competitors have appointments available same day.

I was recently informed my account is being cancelled, without any notice from my prescriber. I am not sure why it is being cancelled, I have been doing great on the medications they prescribed to me! I am scared to be without these medications in the future and I’m not sure what else to do. I have recently reached out to my care coordinator and called customer service, but I have not heard back. Will my remaining prescriptions be able to be refilled? I am going to run out of my first months supply before the end of the month and be in worse condition than when I started.

Great way to access mental health care

I have used Cerebral for less than a year and have already had 3 providers and 2 care counselors. The company changes these without my knowledge or consent. As with any other provider, I feel this is an aspect of care which should be discussed with me as a patient prior to any changes but it is not. Whichever provider you choose in the beginning will most likely not stay as your primary provider for very long. It is difficult to find and schedule appointments with either one in comparison to my work schedule. I haven’t seen my care counselor since August due to scheduling conflicts. At my last appointment with the provider I felt as though I was being scolded for life decisions I make as a 41 year old working mother of five. I am educated in healthcare and I am aware of the choices I make and the effects of those choices. However, since this did not align with the provider’s views, she raised her voice and continued to attempt to educate me. Her viewpoint was acknowledged and then I continued to make “my case” in my own defense. I’m currently using it as a way to obtain medications for my mental health but will soon be transferring to a primary provider within the facility where I work. For me, it has not been worth the $85/month. Also if you get meds, send them to a local pharmacy because at least then your insurance will cover the expense. I have HealthPartners and pay more through Cerebral than I do having it sent to my local pharmacist.

Scheduling on here is pretty bad. Getting into the meetings is also confusing and difficult. Getting medicine prescriptions from my local pharmacy was incredibly easy, but all 3 of my prescriptions gave me horrible side effects and didn’t help with my specific issues. I feel like it is close to impossible to get an accurate diagnosis and everything gets written off as “anxiety”. It also takes over a month to contact your prescriber and get a new medication: even if you are having “side effects that affect less than 15% of people” on ALL THREE medications.

I signed up thinking this would be helpful for my anxiety and ADHD. I have taken meds for this for a few months and it was working, now since changing to Cerebral I can not get a hold of anyone! My Rx was supposed to be sent to my pharmacy and they have yet to receive it. I am now out of my medication and having serious anxiety! I have messaged online and called...No one responds! Wish I would've stayed with my previous online platform. This is terrible customer service.

Cerebral was an absolute life saver for me during 2021, and that is no exaggeration. Within a year, I was given the opportunity to let my heart air out, and the tools to help me heal wounds I never knew had been left open. I have become stronger, healthier, much more aware, and above all I have become more thankful for the loved ones in my life, and all the good things that happened. Thank you Cerebral!

The providers are great! The technology leaves a lot to be desired!
