Problems with rx and contacting company, do not recommend.
I have been treated for anxiety for 23 years, and depression for about 14 years. I have tried different medications over the years to aid me with these illnesses (always under the direct supervision of a prescribing medical professional). I have had to navigate through our terrible mental healthcare system multiple times, and have always felt let down by some aspect of it or another. Over the past year, my medications have not been helping as much as they previously were, so I started the arduous journey of switching my meds. The thought of having an app with my prescriber and therapist at my fingertips was seemed like a dream come true. A friend of mine who is an RN recommended in, and my sister also used it. I had a plan with my prescriber to taper off my old mental health medications, do a two day washout period, and then I'd start the new medication this past Sunday, January 16th. Last Thursday, January 13th, I was told my rx was already filled at my local pharmacy. I never received a message that my prescription had been filled (which if you have ever filled with Walgreens you would know how persistent they are at reminding you that you have a prescription ready) so I forgot about it until Sunday when I realized, in my still altered mental state, that I needed to start it that morning. In my unstable condition, that realization had me go immediately into a panic attack. Thankfully, someone in my support system went to pick it up for me. Unfortunately, it was not there, and that only made the panic worse. I spent the rest of the day crying off and on, panicking and then having to calm myself down, and trying to contact someone at Cerebral. The following day, I was able to get ready for work (preparing to return after a week long absence due to my instability during my med transition), but encountered just enough stressors prior to even getting out that door that I had another severe panic attack/ meltdown that then led me to call out of work (hysterically, I may add) and making my father take me to the behavioral urgent care. It was about 6:30am, on a holiday, so of course they weren't open, but I wasn't thinking straight and my father, God love him, does not know what to do in these situations. I refused to go to an ER. I texted the crisis line and followed their advice. I then spent the rest of the day, again, crying off and on, continually panicking and having to bring myself back down, sometimes not being able to and needing others help. My father was unable to work that night because of my instability. Due to this medication debacle starting on a Sunday, nothing could be done. The following day, the 17th, was MLK Jr day, so nothing could be done. The next day, yesterday, still nothing. It's now Wednesday. I had not heard from this company, besides auto-generated email responses and my previously scheduled care counselor visit I had Monday, with a care counselor who is no longer with the company only a day after my visit with her. I completely understand that my care counselor was unable to help me with the medication. I have been a certified veterinary technician for over a decade. I understand better than the average patient about what the pharmacies are going through currently, as well as the entire healthcare community. I finally heard back from my prescriber a bit ago, approximately 72 hours after I first sent them a message to notify them of their error. I was given a "sorry" and was told they would call in the prescription. I was then contacted by my new care counselor through the app that said "like I mentioned during our session" even though I have never spoken with this person before. My experience with Cerebral has been unacceptable, both from healthcare perspective as well as the customer service. I do not recommend people who are having more serious mental health issues to use this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. I am sorry to hear that you did not receive satisfactory services and for any distress this may have caused you personally. I can understand how medication delays would be frustrating and concerning. I would like to see if there is anything I can do to help. You can contact me by emailing [email protected] or responding to Trustpilot's request for more information. All the best, Meagan - Reviews Coordinator
