Signed up didn’t even finish filling out my account set up like where you put in your address and everything they charge me $140 before I even had the chance to put in my insurance I proceeded to cancel because I didn’t expect to be charged right out of the gate not knowing if they would even be able to care for my issues I have now been fighting for the last week to try and get my money back $140 they said that they can issue a partial refund but because their subscription-based it’s impossible for them to return everything so they still have over $90 of mine and refused to return it to me even though I never use their services at all whatsoever this company is such a scam.

UPDATE: Cerebral quickly fixed the matter and got me in for an appointment today and refunded the extra charge they asked for me to use my account. Thank you! So confused WHY Cerebral deactivated my account without any notice because I just paid my bill for my Cerebral and discovered when logging to my account this morning to double check my prescriber appointment today that my account has been deactivated and all of my patient history erased when I was supposed to be scheduled today with my prescriber. I desperately need to see her today like I had scheduled, I missed work today for this and this is so unbelievable unprofessional to do to me the day of my appointment with my prescriber. To completely deactivate and erase/cancel my prescriptions/appointments/care coordinator messages when I am having a mental health crisis is beyond cruel and terrible to do to someone. I am depending on this health care that I pay you guys $85 a month for and for you to cancel my account the DAY of my appointment is so unprofessional. No warning, no notice, Cerebral just cancelled my account without any notification that there was any issue. Please explain why my appointments/prescriptions/messages and account were deleted without a warning or reason the exact date of my one appointment I missed work for today. Please refund all of my money if you're not going to restore my appointment for today. I paid for this month already and for you guys to deactive my account after I paid, is theft. Literally yesterday everything was fine and I was told my boss I am missing work today for my appointment and then I login this morning only to see my entire account/message history/appointments/prescriptions had ALL been deleted and canceled. I struggle so deeply with mental health issues and my prescriber was helping until I woke up to this nightmare. How horrible to treat a customer who pays top dollar and has mental problems.

I lost my mental care provider during covid. We relocated, she left the large downtown practice in Chicago and advised to seek care elsewhere. I didn't and fortunately there's Cerebral. Recently, the initial provider I met with left as well. Again? I understand some of the back office work is hashed out with fees and that in a new high growth company retaining professionals is difficult. The strength of Cerebral was finding another care counselor that was very responsive when needed. My concerns were addressed and i feel at ease for the first time in a long time. Its hard to ask for help sometimes, cerebral made it painless.

My Cerebral experience in a nutshell: 1.) I subscribe, and sign up for an appointment to get diagnosed/receive treatment. (The nearest appointment being 2 weeks away) 2.) 2 weeks go by, I then check in to the appointment, nobody shows up. I reach out to support to cancel, and they successfully rope me back in, offering a new appointment that's only a week later. 3.) I check in to the second appointment, the caregiver is 15 minutes late and doesn't even have the capability to give treatment for the condition that I specified for (ADHD, she only worked with anxiety/depression) She tells me that she will be able to figure out the dosages I need, however, by consulting her team and will call me the following day. 4.) Surprise! She never calls. Cerebral reaches out to tell me that I must schedule with a different type of specialist, but that they only have 1 of them on their team in my state and so it might take a while to get another appointment. 5.) The nearest appointment is another month away - for me to be able to see the type of specialist I *actually* need. Didn't I fill out a form at the start specifying my condition? This company doesn't have the capacity to take on more patients. Their mission is clearly to take as much money as they can from people who are desperately trying to feel better. I'm hoping to (at the very least) get a refund from them ASAP because I've waited over 5 weeks for literally nothing in return. Stay away from this company at all costs

Cerebral is an option if you are struggling to find a psychiatrist in your area who meets your needs. That being said they are not without issues. I have had my medicine be delayed or not shipped on time and getting in contact with your doctor can be difficult. Additionally, the app can be buggy. Customer service is responsive, and the people working there are always kind when they speak to you. Unfortunately, I have changed care teams so much I don't even remember who it is at this point. I will continue to use it because I just don't have a lot of other options, and if you are in a similar state I would say it is better than a bad psychiatrist or nothing, but they definitely have room for improvement.

Cerebral overstated its ability to prescribe medications to combat ADHD. In fact, Cerebral does not prescribe the meds which are most effective at treating the disorder. It was my hope to simplify my health care requirements through Cerebral. That did not happen....and now I get dinged for $30 per month for services that I do not use. I am very dissatisfied.
