I was initially happy since I was scheduled to see a provider the same day I signed up. However she decided I had been misdiagnosed for years and needed to be upped to a psychiatric NP but in the mean time she wanted to up my depression medication until I could see the new provider well the depression medication she called in is a lower dosage than I was already taking. So now I am dealing with a lower dose of depression medication & anxiety medication plus I had to put my beloved companion dog down. I have reached out many times for help and keep getting a virtual answer bot called Juniper that claims he is a real person. So far I have received no help what so ever except to bill my account. They keep lying to me and misleading me I will either be dead or hospitalized because they only care about money!

It was very difficult to find a time to meet with my provider. The first therapist I met with basically quit or was removed after a few sessions. It took a long time to find a new therapist that took my insurance. She and I had a hard time meeting up. I couldn't ask directly for refills or questions about medications. Seems like Cerebral is still growing and needs to better organize. I love the idea of this service.

When I signed up I signed on for a therapy plan but without my knowledge I was automatically put on a medicine only plan and was later told it was because there were no therapists available at the moment but instead of letting me know before I made my account and paid for the subscription I was automatically put on the medication only plan. Then after my first and only visit with my provider I was charged $124 for the visit and when I called to ask why I was being charged when I was initially told there would be no copay I was told that my insurance would not cover the cost of the visit. I was not given any warning that I would be charged for the visit or that my insurance was incompatible and the support staff were not helpful at all. The support chat also took days to respond to my messages and the cancelation process has been a nightmare. Communication with this company is abysmal and you can expect to receive expensive surprise bills.

I absolutely love this app and my therapist. She totally gets five stars for not judging my crazy and supporting me through so much. But I have now had 4 prescriptions that I have ran out of thinking that I shouldn’t have to be the one that reminds you guys that I need refills. I get that it’s busy and things are getting figured out. But you had me change my persciber right before I was suppose to meet with them and I went almost 2 weeks without my meds. That’s not or nor is it healthy for the brain. I have scheduled things for a reason and you continue to mess up that schedule. Please fix this.

I love my cerebral account. My psych is amazing. My care counselor is amazing. I am brutally honest with her. More so than anyone else. It's working great!

This platform is completely unreliable. I signed up in November of 2021 and waited two weeks before I was able to see a provider. When I saw the provider, she told me she could not see me. When I was assigned a different provider, it was a month and a half later. Since then, I've had providers and caregivers miss appointments, lack of availability for providers in my area (Chicago, IL), and passive-aggressive responses from my "care team". If you're seeking serious mental health help, and not just looking for a $200 Adderall prescription, this is not the service to use.

I keep being charged and whenever I try to cancel , the app says I haven’t completed a survey. This is outrageous.

Ending the trial membership was a nightmare. You must email them, wait for a link to complete a mandatory survey, then wait for them to call you. All the while they are trying to sneak another $$$ charge onto your credit card. I had to return SEVEN emails over SIX days, and complete the survey TWICE because they claimed they never received it. But the best part was when one of them subtly threatened to send the new membership amount to collections. Truly it would have made my day to sue them and share the story on social media. At that point I wrote to their CEO at 11pm and amazingly, received the cancellation email within 20 minutes. Embarrassing and disgusting is the only way to describe their exit process. I would never recommend them.
