Gave it a 2nd chance
*Update* Yeah Cerebral is still more of a headache then its worth. I decided to give them a 2nd chance after being contacted by one of their, "Care Team Coordinators" (Damage control). They offered me the intro rate of $30 again, this coordinator also advised that they accept my insurance after asking them to make sure. Filled out my insurance and it was approved. I thought it was going a little better the 2nd time around. Getting an appointment was a little easier this time, but the session is limited to 30 Mins which is fine maybe for follow up appointments with the prescriber. But during my first session it was very rushed, they didnt ask great questions to get background and understanding of how we are feeling. We hit the 30 min mark and the prescriber couldnt have signed off quicker, it was a joke. Im like ok maybe the 2nd session might be better, so I scheduled my appointment for the following month then received an email, sorry we made an error we dont accept your insurance if you you would like to keep your appointment its going to be $124 or you can cancel it. For that pricing Ill just go see an actual Therapist who will actually listen and help. I happily cancelled I was mad that I couldnt get a refund for the first session due to their error. I would have never considered giving Cerebral a 2nd chance knowing that they dont take my insurance. Well the cancellation was also super annoying. I was a week away from the subscription renewing, I was sent the form that needed to be fill out and submitted on top of emailing the cancelling dept. The coordinator who reached out and was helping me with the process of signing up again and then the cancellation was responsive in the beginning before I asked to cancel. Once I did she sent me the form and it took 4 follow up emails and calls (over a week) in order for them to send confirmation of the cancellation. The reason why I had to keep following up is they specifically said if you dont receive a confirmation of cancellation, your subscription would be renewed. This company is a scam for telehealth, they only want your money. They entice you with an intro rate and when you want to cancel they try and keep you by offering small discount for 3 months or they take forever to cancel. Umm yeah no its still unaffordable and cost the same as going to a therapist and paying out of pocket. _______________________________________ They were quick to charge you right after you sign up and schedule. It took 2 weeks to get an appt and they the prescriber no showed. Rescheduled again only date was in 2 weeks, but of course I signed on 10 mins early and the same thing happened. They sent an automated message of course saying sorry looks like you missed your appt and your prescriber was having trouble getting a hold of you... Umm no if she did try we would have had the appt. But 2 no shows is ridiculous for a company thats suppose to help people and have professionalism, but instead your automated message give people more anxiety and frustration thinking we did something wrong. Your service has so much potential to help people that cant afford going to a therapist office for a diagnosis. Not looking forward to the refund process after seeing all these bad reviews about the service. I should have looked at reviews before signing up.
