Cerebral is not the place to go, trust me. Even if they take your insurance, which they probably won't, you'll have to deal with inconsistency all throughout. You may not be able to schedule an appointment with your therapist or care provider as often as you pay for and, despite the option to leave messages, they usually don't respond in a timely fashion. I have a prescription through the service and they prescribed me the lowest dose possible, far below the regular starting dose for the medication. I'm a MH professional and I was trained in diagnosis and assessment, and they do not instill confidence in their clients or show transparency in decision-making with this process. I now have to wait month-by-month to increase the dose, while paying for each month, just to get to the starting dose. I was then told they don't know if they'd be "allowed" to increase my dose without approval and they'd let me know. Almost a month passed and I haven't gotten any updates. No calls from them or my pharmacy. I reached out when I had 5 days of medication left and haven't heard back in 4 days. I now have 1.5 days of medication left, no response in messages, and a vague email from someone else about a broken account. Up until now I've dealt with the issues because they've at least allowed me to get the medication I need but it's NOT acceptable for the client to have no idea WHEN or IF their medication will be refilled! You cannot let people go days or weeks without their medication! Unacceptable. Even if you don't have insurance, it's probably cheaper to go to a therapist or a provider without it. Their "weekly" therapy is like $300/mo. If you see a local therapist and pay up-front, they might charge $100-150 per session. Virtually the same thing except you will actually get someone that's consistent outside of Cerebral. OH and, after tinkering with the plans and finally settling on something that works, I get a company-wide email that says their policy has changed and after October they won't be able to prescribe my medication anymore. Ha! What a huge waste of my time. That's the only reason I use this service. Now I have to waste more time looking for other providers.

The staff of Cerebral are the most caring and respectful people I have worked with in a while. I was in therapy during my childhood and it never seemed to work due to personal problems. With Cerebral I was able to be independent in a step of bettering myself, and I was able to get medication a couple days after talking with my prescriber! Setting up appointments is really simple and the app also offers little assignments to help you along the way. The service is affordable and is honestly worth it!

I was apprehensive to do the online therapy. The folks I've interacted with so far have been helpful and understanding. I would recommend Cerebral for sure.

They let me choose my providers which I love because if you look at someone’s photo it can sometimes let you see apiece of them I picked the most friendly looking and she was amazing she listed to me rant and cry and go on and on it was judgement free and we both love animal that was an extreme plus

Working with Cerebral has been amazing. I remember when I returned to their care this year, it was a confusing and troubling time, however, my therapist immediately recognized this, and immediately began working with me to figure out and good plan of action. I am now 4 months into therapy, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience!

My therapist is compassionate, empathetic and sympathetic to my grief without being condescending. She has given me excellent techniques to enable me to get past sticking points that were hampering my progress and I know I am a better man for attending her sessions. I’ve been mentally ill forever and have seen many therapists! My cerebral therapist is amazing and knows way more than any therapist in my small city. While I’ve struggled to find an open minded and knowledgeable therapist in my area, I found one on my first try with cerebral, and she has helped me grow SO MUCH. My mental health has improved so much over the past six months even with just one session a month. I’m so grateful to have a therapist that pushes me to become better and take care of myself :)

My whole life I was recommended to seek therapy, but I always struggled with how to do that. Cerebral made it possible, available, and easy. It has been the best experience of my life, and it has allowed me to improve all aspects of my life.
