Pretty simple solution Cerebral- STOP STEALING FROM MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS. GIVE PEOPLE BACK THEIR MONEY FOR SERVICES YOU DON'T PROVIDE! I made an appointment with Cerebral back in January. My first appointment, my counselor actually canceled because she claimed she couldn't hear me. I was in the middle of the city and had all my bars, everyone else could hear me. But for whatever reason, this woman claimed she could not and called me just to tell me to reschedule. Fine. I'm just on the edge of major mental issues but no big deal I guess. The next appointment was 2 months out. There was no way I could wait that long. I had just been in the hospital, they told me to see a doctor immediately to get on regular medication. So I asked if I could meet with another doctor, but I was denied. I actually had to just go to another physician (in my city) because cerebral could not see me in a reasonable time. 2 months later, they want me to go to this appointment, I wasn't exactly against cerebral at this point, but they had charged me monthly fees for services that were never rendered due to their own "tech issues". So I told them I was not going to go to that appointment if I was not credited for the previous months, because then they're going to say that services were rendered. I also sent emails asking them to stop charging me. Well they never credited them and they have been charging me every month since. I spoke with Valerie today and she says they are going to stop the charges and credit me until March, because that's when she can see that I complained. But they refuse to credit back before that. They refuse to refund money for services that were never provided. Services that they refused to provide. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. The concept is good if it actually worked, but turns out it's just a scam to get your money and it's impossible to cancel. After multiple phone calls and emails, I don't even believe that I'm going to be credited because I've already been told this in the past and never was. At this point, I believe I'm going to have to get legal representation. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY PREY ON PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH. It's absolutely atrocious that they treat people this way.

So far I’m loving this app. My medicine has been changed and it has 100% made a difference already and I just started therapy. I’m hopeful this is going to work also. The app allows me to do it at home and allows me to schedule it all at my convenience. Would recommend it to anyone!

I was a cerebral patient for 10 months. At first they had technical issues and didn’t fulfill my prescription - leaving me without medication for almost 60 days. After that was fixed, the app had ongoing technical issues and I was unable to utilize the scheduling feature for 6+ months to scheduled with my counselor. Not once during that lapse in appointments did my care coordinator or counselor reach out to see if everything was ok. I had to realize the error on my own and contact them. During this time I had a significant increase in external stressors and a corresponding decrease to my functioning. I explained this to my medical provider and she did switch my medication. Even during this transition, my counselor or care coordinator never checked in. After my first two quarterly assessments, that functionality in the app also stopped working. Convenient so they couldn’t collect data on how ineffective my care has been. This isn’t a mental health service - it is a medication farm.

Being someone who gets nervous with first interactions such as this, Lisa was amazing. She didn’t make me feel like she was judging me for the way I operate and made the whole first appointment experience painless and comfortable

My psychiatrist was very helpful and educated me on helpful information in regards to improving my mental health.

I signed up for Cerebral thinking it would be a good way to get counselling and medications. Was misled to think it was covered by insurance for medications. Nothing was ever delivered, when I opened a ticket - was told to fill my scripts locally with a pharmacy. Cerebral still charged me for medications for 6 months. When I called support, the customer support representative told me she would confer with her manager and email me once the refund was in place. I then received an email stating that it was against their billing policy to giver refunds, regardless if I received products and services from Cerebral or not, further stating that the cannot reverse charges because their billing model is subscription based. This company is a scam operation preying on people in need, I would not recommend anything from Cerebral.

I loved my care team. Looked forward to the monthly meetings. Would use the app to calm down from stress, meditate, and ground myself. They were there whenever I needed to talk via text, messages, or calls... Until they weren't. I had an appointment on Monday, logged in and appointment was cancelled. ??? I didn't remember cancelling it but I'm very forgetful at times. Did I??? No. I know I didn't! I realize then that my entire account has been cancelled. Why? I checked my bank account. Everything was ok there. I hadn't missed any payments. I tried to reinstate but it wouldn't allow me to. I messaged support and found out I was cancelled because they feel I'm too much for them and need to see in-person care. Ok, I'm fine with that, but first off I'm not as bad as most others are. What I'm not fine about is their lack of communication and care about cancelling me. What if I wasn't ok? This could've easily been a push over the edge for somebody. For some people, that counselor and care team are all they may have. If you can't get a hold of a mental health patient in your care, wouldn't that be a red flag? Wouldn't you think there would be a call to emergency contacts, an email, or even a message on the app??? No. Nothing! I was told they tried reaching me but we're unable so they left a voicemail. Ok, my phone wasn't working a few weeks ago for calls or voicemail, so if that's when they were reaching out I didn't get it. To just dismiss like this is unacceptable, unprofessional, careless, and dangerous! I am sure I am not the only person they've done this to. I am fine. But I am mad, disappointed, sad, and hurt. I truly liked my care team and I was thrown away. No referrals. No prescription refills which I'm almost out of (they would've been refilled during Monday's visit). This is dangerous and unacceptable. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else anymore! I joined Cerebral in April because of their outstanding reviews, ease of use, and great care. I found out last night that starting in May they've been under federal investigation for over prescribing patients with opiates to keep them coming back. They've also mistreated employees and had major amount of layoffs. Gave misrepresentation in their social media ads, and mistreated their patients via medications. DO NOT USE CEREBRAL!!!! Unfortunately they are still listed in the top 10 for mental health care apps. Please continue your research even after you're receiving care. Know what's happening with those that should be providing your care! This should never happen!
