The ease & convenience is what drew me to giving Cerebral a try, but now I understand you get what you pay for & this supposedly “affordable” alternative to in-person care became a nightmare for my mental health. First, the care coordinator assigned to me was nearly non-existent & didn’t do much in terms of assistance or following up. Then, the first doctor I was assigned to quit. And a random was assigned. The new one assigned did not match well with me & I requested a switch- to which I was told to seek from the list on the app. Come to find out- there was literally 0 available to book an appointment with. For weeks. Absolutely none available through the entire end of the year when searching in August! To make matters worse, I was prescribed certain medications but what I received was wrong. And then other medications I’d been prescribed were not delivered while I was receiving double orders of another. Some of these medications gave terrible side effects but it took days for my care coordinator to acknowledge my messages & the prescriber constantly got the scripts wrong- I ended up being on the phone with support over 5 times for being sent the wrong scripts & charged for them- and never ended up receiving the scripts that I was told were supposedly corrected. Appointments were someone on the other screen asking me very generic questions & they spent more time typing than actually engaging with me. We never accomplished anything and it ended up being the standard play-by-play to document they were doing their “job” but it had 0 benefit to me for help or psychological care. Overall my experience was extremely disorganized and borderline fraudulent for the “care” I received. From the care team assigned to struggling with finding a doctor, constant pharmaceutical problems, being charged for what wasn’t received, lack of overall professionalism & care- this gave me more & worse anxiety than I signed on with! I can’t express enough how displeased I am with Cerebral & would absolutely NOT refer or recommend to anyone else needing serious help. The convenience is not at all worth the subpar service & borderline dangerous when dealing with mental health. I’m shocked this entity is even allowed to be open & supposedly “licensed” after my experience. Probably the worst care & incompetence I’ve ever dealt with.

Awful. I signed up in October 28th, had zero success setting up an appointment or having a therapist that fit my needs assigned to me. I just cancelled today. And of course getting a refund has been a nightmare. Save yourself the time (and mental health) and go to a real counseling service, I know it’s tough in todays day and age. But cerebral is a SCAM. They’re taking advantage of people. No wonder half the states in this country are currently suing cerebral for all the miss prescribing they are doing. Literal scam. Also*** if you’re trying to get a refund and they keep refusing? Demand it. Tell them you’re writing reviews. Threaten a lawyer. It worked for me.

I definitely recommend Qiana Wimbley. She is an incredible therapist! Sometimes there are IT issues, but customer service makes up for it.

I do not like their app model and I feel that speaks levels about their business. First of all, I don’t know why I am being charged $85 a month when I use none of their services. I made an account to try using their services but never got around to actually setting up my first meetings. I thought it was strange they wanted my card information before I had even gotten any of their services yet. I decided I did not want to use their services when I saw they were charging my card for nothing. For simply making an account. I had to call to delete my account, which should have deleted my card information as well and cancel the subscription, however, i am still being charged by cerebral. I had to cancel my card and get a new one. I dont know why my account is deleted yet they are still taking money out of my bank account. $85 a month for nothing is too much money. Your website sucks. Do not ask for money before u provide your service. disgusting.

This company is horrible. They said they could no longer perceive the adderall medication I need but still charged me for the next month of service from 10/25 to 11/25. They refuse to give me a refund but they also refuse to give me my medication. This site is a a scam. They stole my money and aren’t prescribing my Medication! I am thinking about getting a lawyer to help. Stay away!!

The prescriber gave my husband buspar prn(as needed) for his severe anxiety. Buspar is a scheduled med meaning it is supposed to be taken daily because it takes 4 to 6 weeks to build in your system. Prescriber also missed 2 appointments. She was also supposed to sign paperwork for my husband to return to work and received it 2 weeks ago and she has yet to sign off on it. He has until tomorrow to have it turned in or he loses his job thus adding to the anxiety. Cerebral took full advantage of the pandemic and prey upon individuals like my husband who are willing to do anything to feel "normal" again. I will be contacting an attorney tomorrow because they may very well have caused my husband to lose his job that he has been working for 25 years.

This company is a joke. I’ve been without my meds for two weeks now. I send message upon message and never hear back from anyone but they proceeded to charge my account. They are frauds. They’ll start you out your first month then just steal you money without providing treatment.

Easier to get medications & therapy than any other mental health care facility; with insurance it’s a low out of pocket cost!
