AJ MadisonReviews of ajmadison.com

Caused thousands of dollars in damages. AJ Madison did not properly install my LG washer/dryer unit, causing $5K in damage to my building. They literally didn't use all the parts! The unit was leaking water for years. They took no responsibility even though we provided a video and statement from the repairman. After it was fixed they said I needed to pay for LG to come to house to verify it wasn't properly installed. It took them weeks and weeks to give this suggestion and i had already had the unit repaired (shouldn't say repaired because it wasn't broken - it just wasn't properly isntalled)

The salesman answered all my questions and advised me.and it was very helpful with pricing so I will definitely buy again from AJ Madison

The sales person answered all my questions, had what I wanted

Had an issues to a defective unit and Julio handled it like a true professional. He should be the model rep for how to handle customers

We ordered a new appliance from AJ Madison because the customer support agent said they had it in stock and could ship it that day. Estimated delivery window was 1-2 weeks, which I guess they provide so customers buy appliances. Window came and went, with no word from the shipping company (AM Trucking). So we called AM Trucking and were told item had been received locally, and they'd call within a day with an update. Nothing. We called again a few days later, and they told us item had just been received locally the night before, and said "keep your phone on and check messages, we'll call soon with an update!" Nothing. We had arranged to be around during the delivery window; by the time we got a call--one day's notice--we weren't around, and I had to scramble to get neighbors to cover the 4-hr window. Appliance finally arrived--with a hole in the side. Not a scratch, an actual blunt-force puncture, although the box itself looked fine. On the bright side, AJ Madison is giving us a full refund. On the down side, estimated delivery windows are fiction, communication is awful, and we still need to replace our old appliance. What a hassle and waste of time.

The most incompetent people I've ever seen if not downright dishonest. They sold me a washing machine, came to the apartment and told me they could not install it --I need to order another part--and then tried to charge me hundreds of dollars in restocking fees. It took three visits for them to finally install it and then I still got spam emails saying they are on the way. I had dozens of phone calls with these bozos. No idea what is wrong with them.

The greatest downfall of AJMadison is their shipping company, AM HOME DELIVERY. They will publish date of delivery window, ex 1July - 8July for AJMadison and customer initially, however once arrives at their terminal they will add another 5 days to delivery, unknown to AJM . So, do not ever plan on timely delivery. Second issue is AJ. I ordered SQ washer on line. They have store in Miami and NYC for purposes of this review. Rather than have washer originate from Miami store whereby it would quickly be delivered to Pompano Beach shipping terminal and then arrive to destination in north Florida on time. Instead AJM originated pick up in NYC and have appliance transversed over 1000 miles, taking almost two weeks to arrive. Prices are retail so you get no trade off. Recommend support local store and buy there, and wait for appliance arrival to store. AJM Customer service I encountered was excellent interface. AM delivery customer service non-empathetic. Though it achieved nothing, Judy F at AJM attempted to expedite shipping to original published date to no avail. She got answering machine. If this is universal trait for AM home delivery I look for them to join the graveyard of 2025 trucking companies going bankrupt. AJM find a trucking company of repute!!!!! In short, do not expect discount pricing, or timely logistic management for your order. Keep any AJ purchases to their store's vicinity. No online orders.

Waited almost two months for installed range, only to find out that delivery company did not install down vent cooktops. Previous mistake in order, several confirmations of installation from AJ Madison and delivery company, missed delivery deadlines, phantom rebate ( I changed color of range same day), all part of AJ Madison experience. At least refund was issued promptly when I asked, one customer service agent Cheryl was sufficiently apologetic for series of f ups that were not her fault.
