BE AWARE of awful customer service and misrepresentations from sales. Sales team misrepresented what was included in "full" Service delivery. Of course is it upcharged. They apparently don't remove packaging - though it was a specific conversation with the salesperson about the need for this. I was assured it was included in "full" service. When I called customer service I got an unprofessional rep who literally laughed as if this was the most ridiculous concept to expect that they would remove the packaging. His words when I said I would include this in my review...well any comments are good advertising so go ahead. Won't be using them again for my next rehab. Hows that for good advertising. BTW it wasn't my first issue with the order.

Underwhelming experience
Underwhelming experience, despite loving the washer and dryer we purchased.
As others have mentioned, items are listed as “in stock,” but that is misleading. They label products as in stock even though they still have to be shipped from a warehouse, which can take several weeks—as was the case for us. I wish this had been explained when I called the salesperson to confirm my order.
To make matters worse, they confirmed a delivery date for the following Friday. When I called that Friday afternoon to ask where the delivery was, I was told they hadn’t even received the units yet and it would be another three weeks! Somehow they managed to get them within two weeks after that, but then the biggest issue occurred.
I had paid for their white-glove delivery and installation. After the installation, I discovered that:
a) they plugged the washer into the wrong outlet (the wrong voltage), even though I was home and could have pointed them to the correct one. It also clearly says in the bash if the washer to plug it into the dryer! I didn’t think I needed to supervise a professional installation team.
b) even more concerning, they cut off the third grounding prong from the washer’s power plug so they could force it into the wrong outlet. That is a major safety concern and completely unacceptable.
When I called customer service, I was transferred to the parts department. They didn’t even acknowledge how serious this was. Instead, I was simply told to send photos and that I would “just have to wait because there are a lot of people ahead of me who also need support.” Classy response—especially considering this was a problem their own installers created.
To make matters worse, the support representative later told me that the installation team claimed they had done no such thing. Well, the third grounding prong certainly didn’t disappear on its own. Was I supposed to believe it somehow fell off by itself—or were they actually implying that I cut it off?
I then had to follow up multiple times just to get an update, and each interaction felt equally dismissive. Now, ten days later, I’ve finally received a message saying they’re coming back, although I’m still not entirely sure what they’re plan is. Replace the power cord? Fix the installation? I also still haven’t received confirmation that this won’t affect the manufacturer’s warranty.
If this had happened with some random small appliance store, I might not have been quite so surprised by the poor workmanship and lack of customer support. But this is a fairly large company. Is it really too much to expect a properly trained installation team, competent customer support, and people who take responsibility when they make a potentially dangerous mistake?

The greatest downfall of AJMadison is…
The greatest downfall of AJMadison is their shipping company, AM HOME DELIVERY. They will publish date of delivery window, ex 1July - 8July for AJMadison and customer initially, however once arrives at their terminal they will add another 5 days to delivery, unknown to AJM . So, do not ever plan on timely delivery. Second issue is AJ. I ordered SQ washer on line. They have store in Miami and NYC for purposes of this review. Rather than have washer originate from Miami store whereby it would quickly be delivered to Pompano Beach shipping terminal and then arrive to destination in north Florida on time.
Instead AJM originated pick up in NYC and have appliance transversed over 1000 miles, taking almost two weeks to arrive. Prices are retail so you get no trade off. Recommend support local store and buy there, and wait for appliance arrival to store. AJM Customer service I encountered was excellent interface. AM delivery customer service non-empathetic. Though it achieved nothing, Judy F at AJM attempted to expedite shipping to original published date to no avail. She got answering machine. If this is universal trait for AM home delivery I look for them to join the graveyard of 2025 trucking companies going bankrupt. AJM find a trucking company of repute!!!!! In short, do not expect discount pricing, or timely logistic management for your order. Keep any AJ purchases to their store's vicinity. No online orders.

Good start but a lengthy and chaotic claim process
Good start of the claim process. Diligent and efficient.
Overall, though we got things satisfactorily resolved, it took ~2 months door to door to get the damaged item replaced.
We understand it takes time but the lack of coordination between AJ Madison support and TOR support was genuinely disconcerting.

Bad experience - unreliable delivery
Bad experience.
Their delivery company will push your date back by weeks if anything goes wrong in the process.
Just know if you order from them, everything has to go exactly right. Otherwise, you won't see your appliances for a month after scheduled. And they charge big fees to return even if the delivery company pushes you back by weeks.

Buyers hate this one simple trick
Bought a flushmount kit for my induction cooktop. It's tiny. Box dimensions were about 6"x6". Weighed about 1.5 lbs. Some foam tape and a metal bracket. They charged me $35 shipping. Non-refundable.
I didn't use the product. They only reason they have two stars is because I worked a deal with them where if I pay the shipping back, they won't charge me the 25% restocking fee. It cost me about $12.50 to ship it back.
AJ is all about that cash money! I hope whatever lambo you're driving is sweet.
Point is, just don't.

Rude, RUDE Customer Service.
What went wrong is their customer service is awful. I used the chat feature last night bc it was a Sunday night and it was available. I needed to check on a replacement microwave that was shipped, but no tracking and it was to be delivered to the job. We have no idea if it was delivered? The person, whoever runs this feature, could not have been more rude and it was clear they did not want to help me or answer any of my questions. In fact they basically hung up on me by ending the chat. Their customer service and shipping has me rethinking doing business with them.

Received five products
Received five products. Dishwasher missing parts, hole on interior door. Stove had left side pushed in. Because I didn’t open and inspect in the right amount of time allotted they refused to do anything. Open your products immediately otherwise you are hosed.
