I am impressed with the customer service of AJ Madison. First, I couldn't believe the order was already in play after just a few hours from ordering; unfortunately this time I had to cancel (part came in for broken washer), but I will definitely order from AJ in future (when my washer actually does stop working).

I ordered three GE Cafe appliances from AJ Madison. The microwave came in damaged. I sent pictures. The return process was relatively easy. The hardware for the stove and the refrigerator came in a different color/finish than marketed on the web site. I ordered white appliances with “brushed bronze” hardware because the hardware in the images on the web site were described as “brushed bronze” even though they appeared more of a gold/brass finish. I reached out to customer service. They helped me order a stove part in brushed bronze and another in brushed brass. When the samples came in, the problem became clear: The description on the web site states brushed bronze, but the hardware is actually brushed brass. I reached out to customer service, explained the situation verbally and via email, and attached numerous pictures. In response, they sent me a link to the GE site that shows correct descriptions of the finishes. I didn’t order from GE. I ordered from AJ Madison. Their web site is inaccurate. GE’s site is irrelevant. They are saying I need to pay a 30% restocking fee to exchange the appliances or pay $600 per appliance for brushed brass hardware to be sent to me then I’d need to do all the replacing. This is absolutely absurd!!! Their pictures misrepresent the hardware. They are taking no responsibility. Their customer service rep said she is elevating the issue to management. They have been copied on numerous email communications. No response. The rep keeps saying she’ll get back to then she doesn’t. I would be happy to replace the hardware myself even though the mistake is theirs; however, it’s unfair and unacceptable of them to expect me to pay for that. Additionally, I have plans to order several additional appliances for a new house in the same line. Unfortunately, based on this horrible and unacceptable customer service experience, I will need to find a different brand and line. Buyer beware!!! The product is great. The customer service is horrendous.

Submitting the document claim on line and uploading the photos of the damage was convenient and easy.

Excellent communication and great prices. Very accommodating on delayed shipping (we r building a home and dn need appliances immediately). I’d shop w/ them again!
