Horrible customer service in almost every store no matter where you are...then I came to Baltimore to visit family and while I was here I ended up but a tps for my 02 gmc Yukon and having it shipped to my house 3hrs away in Somerset county md ... Then I wake up the next morning to an email stating that my order is ready for pickup at the dundalk location which is where my phone was when I ordered it ... Thank God I was still in Baltimore and can easily go pick it up... But wow hire some people who at least know how to read and follow a simple instructions... But sry advance your prices are way to high your customer service sucks and you just got black listed so you won't ever see this guy again

They sold me tire chains that did not fit, despite showing them the tire code written down.I returned them and the store manager and sales clerk were very helpful and ordered new ones. Unfortunately, they were the same size of those that I returned- too small to fit the tire. They reordered them, and those were not really the right size- too big- but my size was on the list of tires that they would fit. They were more expensive with no cams or bungee tighteners. I can make them work, but am still not very happy. There must be a problem with their parts numbers or ordering system.

Menos cero. When I try to replace my battery for warranty. Counter sakes told me series number doesn't match .I'm still having warranty till 9-14-21. I tape my invoice inside battery location inside my acadia location. Now I went to O'reilly to buy another one and making sure all number shows on my invoice. Location Advance auto parts West county road Odessa Texas.

One star is generous!! The rebuilt alternator for a Ford Expedition they sold me does not communicate with the PCM which controls the voltage as needed to get the best performance out of the system. Alternator puts out low or no voltage at times and causes the battery light on the dash to stay on continuously because the PCM sees a problem. Went through two of them in 6 months and finally bought a Ford factory new unit and everything works great. Found a Ford dealer on line site that actually sells the new unit cheaper than the Advance Auto/ Carquest rebuilt one. Advantage Auto says that because the unit puts out voltage when it spins, it’s good. WRONG!!!! The PCM is supposed to be able to increase or decrease voltage output based on its demand. Their rebuilt in Mexico cheap unit does not meet factory specs. Manager refuses to refund my money!!! Last time I step foot in that door!!!

I would give a zero if it were possible. We bought a premium battery at the Mechanicsburg store in 2018. It is under warranty til July 2021. Our car was giving a message to check the battery because it was not charging properly. We took the car to the store and they checked it saying we should buy something to charge the battery it doesn't read low enough for warranty. We took it to the dealer to be sure no electrical issues were causing this message. They did a comprehensive test and said the battery needed a new one. They gave us the readout to show Advance Auto. Advance Auto repeated their quick test and said it was not low enough. We asked for the head manager to call and were told he may not call but she would leave a message. She was useless and unable to give us a real reason for no warranty replacement. We called late the following night after no one called us back. They told us they can not cover the warrantey. DISHONESTY is their warranty and they are useless if they need to communicate. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

John and Kyle recently helped me with replacing my car battery and it being under warranty. I have a high risk s/o and they were great about going out to the car to grab the battery, calling me the next day to let me know it was ready, and also taking it out to the car when I picked it up. GREAT customer service and I REALLY hope they get recognition for getting such a good review. Stay safe and stay healthy!! Leah

I recently visited Advanced auto parts on rt 360 west in Midlothian near Winterpock rd. They always give me great service. Norman is the assistant manager and he's helped me many times. He assisted me with a new battery for my wife's car. This young man understands customer service, is knowledgeable about his products and has a A1 attitude and disposition. I truly appreciate that Norman helped me by testing the battery and determining it was shot. Then installing my new battery all in about 10 minutes so that I was able to get my wife's car back to the house on time for her to drive to work. Top notch service. Norman definitely makes this store better.
