Received all inventory with over 10 months of life gone

I was excited to try X-Sense and purchased five of their 10-year smart smoke alarms. Unfortunately, when they arrived, all five alarms had manufacturing dates from July 2025, despite being purchased in May 2026. That means nearly 10 months of the advertised 10-year lifespan had already elapsed before I even installed them. When I contacted customer service, they confirmed they cannot guarantee customers will receive products from a recent production batch and could not provide replacements with newer manufacturing dates. Their solution was a 10% refund. My concern isn't the warranty. It's that when consumers purchase a 10-year smoke alarm, they reasonably expect to receive close to 10 years of usable life, not a product that has already lost almost 10% of its lifespan sitting in inventory. This is my first experience with X-Sense, and it was disappointing. I've purchased smart alarms from other manufacturers in the past and have never received inventory this old. Customer service was polite and responsive, but ultimately I decided to return the products and look elsewhere.

Love this company..
Love this company... the products are good quality and affordable. We purchased 4 water sensors with wifi and they work amazingly well! We also got smoke and co2 detectors... they all hook up to the same home unit so seemless integration! The app allows customization, alarms, notifications, and testing! One of our smoke co2 detectors was randomly chirping after 2 months. No biggie... electronics from time to time have manufacturing defects. I called them and they emailed me back within a day. Ive been discussing with Gigi who was just as friendly, polite, and accommodating to me! I submitted what I needed to and she got a warranty replacement out to me asap. Thanks Gigi!

Das System ist ehr zu empfehlen
Habe mir von X-Sense die Rauchmelder , Co2 Melder und Wassermelder gekauft. Die Installation ist einfach und schafft jeder. Die App ist gut übersichtlich. Bisher kamen jede Alarmierungen gut an und konnten so bedient werden. Hatten gestern bei der Heizung ein Wasserleck und der Wassermelder hat sofort alarmiert und somit konnte ein größerer Schaden verhindert werden.

Très bon produit, mais logistique et service client à améliorer. Après 10 jours d'attente pour une commande annoncée sous 3 à 5 jours, je n'ai toujours rien reçu. Le service client m'indique que la commande est en cours d'acheminement, alors que le transporteur affiche "No shipping info for your order", ce qui laisse penser que le colis ne lui a même pas encore été confié. C'est dommage, car le matériel est excellent et l'application est particulièrement réussie, avec de nombreuses fonctionnalités et une utilisation très simple. Seul autre point à améliorer : l'absence de thermomètres étanches dans la gamme proposée.

Such a seamless installation procedure…
Such a seamless installation procedure highly highly recommend to anybody !! Their technical service department is really a human being that enters and helps you through if you do need assistance like I did but not much! We feel so much safer having all of the alarms interconnected could save lives'
