I've used Wyze products since the Cam v2 era and still run them alongside newer versions. The hardware and software continue to improve, and Wyze is great at sharing their development progress. I recently reached out to support due to my own mistake, and the agent resolved the issue swiftly.

I've had their service for a couple years now. I didn't mind paying the $20/year subscription fee, as I could afford it at that time. Now they've increased it to $30/yr with zero options of a monthly payment plan, which I can do. I cannot do the $30/year annual on a now limited income. Plus the support is crap. Every time I look for help, I actually resolve the issue through troubleshooting a few days. This company has gone from great and affordable to crap and expensive.

I’ve been a loyal Wyze customer for years, paying around $37 annually for my 3-camera setup. Out of nowhere, I received a notification that my account was auto-billed $95—a massive price jump for the exact same coverage. Fortunately, I happened to have my phone in hand right when the charge alert popped up. I called their customer service department immediately to address the sudden charge. To my surprise, the support agent handled the situation quickly and professionally, issuing a full refund right on the spot without making me jump through endless automated chat bots or email tickets. While I’m disappointed by the steep subscription price increases on grandfathered plans, I have to give credit where it's due: their phone support came through when it mattered. Keep an eye on your real-time payment alerts, but if an unexpected charge happens, calling them directly got the job done for me!

I don't do many reviews b/c I get inundated with requests for reviews everyday, but Wyze deserves my time. I tried to solve my problem with my camera with there online help, but after trying everything I called them. The helpline support was excellent. The wait time for support to pick up the phone was about 5-7 mins. In about 15 mins, she solved the problem. Saved me a lot of time and frustration. Thank you.

I've been trying to use Wyze for the last year or so. Their cameras have very good quality picture. Problem is they absolutely will not stay connected to your network. Constantly stopping. And the wireless battery cameras don't have a power cycle switch. You have to go through the entire setup to reconnect it. It's just beyond pathetic. It probably comes down to they try and force you into a plan in which that plan will probably give you the firmware your device(s) need to make the cameras actually operate correctly. If that's all the more they think of their product and their customers, it's time to find a different brand.

On Battery Cam Pro, the power-cycle process requires removing the battery pack for 10 seconds. A subscription is not required for basic camera use; plans add cloud video and alerts, while connectivity and firmware updates are handled separately.
