Cams cut in and out. Just when you need them - nothing. (and, no, Wyze, it’s not the WiFi signal) Customer service SUCKS. No phone solutions, and the first 3 or 4 email exchanges are stupid “form letter suggestions” long-time Wyze users have already tried by then.
I’ve been with them from the beginning and couldn’t be more disappointed in what the company has become.

Worst camera experience ever
Absolutely the worst experience!! Do not buy this garbage camera. The app exposed you to Chinese websites and it tricks you into giving your data. They have no phone number that reaches a person. It will infuriate you when trying to get it to work. It is a scam!!!!! Run!!

Like the cameras but the customer…
Like the cameras but the customer service is horrible!! They do not understand customer service is what makes the company and eventually customers will leave. The website is not user friendly either.

Tried to get my door lock fixed that I bought almost 2 years ago but would not fix or replace it. Not it just wont work. Talked to support but was no help. Also just as many others have said the cameras are really not that good. The quality is super low and they almost never catch what you want.

The worst customer service ever except for Social Security and they have 66 million people.
Truthfully the people that answer your phone are either completely untrained or brain dead or both. I was hung up on after 10 min. Called back and put on hold for over 30 min. Called back took 20 min to get a supervisor. Who offered me a gift certificate or replacement without any troubleshooting of my problem. Terrible! I would say their corporate culture is very bad, but that would assume they had one. I will avoid any Wyze product in the future and be vocal about it.

Not a security camera, regularly misses people, sometimes cars, but always informs on tree movements
Own v3 PRO cam for 2 months now. Cam Plus subscription (the only one working in Australia).
1. There is no true built-in AI, nor is any in the cloud (with subscription)! Constant false triggers by birds and bush waving, in the evening – by the lights from passing by cars (which are over 50 metres away). Eventually you just turn off notifications, cause it's impossible, endless false triggers.
2. Setting detection zone does absolutely nothing! You still get alerts from bush waving far outside the detection zone.
3. Add to that multiple occasions when camera misses people which occupy 60-90% of the vertical space – coming up to the entrance (with high sensitivity – over ¾ of a scale) during the daytime and clear shot! I wouldn't believe it if I didn't observe it myself. When my wife with 2 hand luggage and myself with two duffel bags slowly moved to the entrance (because we were chatting with a neighbour) from the very left to the very right end of the camera view (occupying up to 90% of the vertical space), taking the keys out, opening a door. No trigger!!! Even not recorded to either SD card or the cloud.
How on Earth could this be possible for a security camera?
It misses people several times a day. It's unacceptable for a security camera.
4. I submitted around a hundred reports, 'sharing' video and marking what is actually in a shot – did NOT help at all. So-called AI does NOT learn anything.
5. My front yard is probably around 20-30 meters long. Their 2K camera couldn't even record a licence plate of a vehicle parked 6-7 meters away (at an angle), you just see that there are some symbols there. A camera – you can't rely on anyhow!
6. And they refuse to refund that piece of garbage, offering a gift certificate to get another one, so that they can charge 4 times more for having both cameras connected to a cloud…
Upd 27.05.2023: eventually, a month later, they refunded and allowed to keep a camera.
7. Support is awful and it can only send useless templated responses and they don't care about the quality of the product. Only how they can profit.
CONCLUSION. If you want a toy, then Wyze is quite a decent option: its picture quality is good (although practically useless – see #5). Colourful night vision works pretty well even without ultraviolet LED (cause you can't use them through a window, like I have to). And that's it.
If you want a security camera, then definitely go with another brand.
FYI. Subscription packages (except for Cam Plus) works only in US and Canada! They're verifying the address and your cell number (you can't use an international format, only US & Canada cells). So, no way to trick this. But those scammers happily charge your card anyway, even knowing where you are located and which AppStore covers you! Even though they promise 2-week trial and say there won't be any charge until 24 hours before the end of the period.
Wyze applies unfair business practices and lies and misleads consumers. Everything they do is aimed not at delivering a high quality product but at squeezing money out of you.
After noticing all those problems, I purchased ReoLink Camera and tested two cams side by side as well as from different angles. ReoLink is not perfect, but it surely does not miss events so bad and has way less false triggers. But its night vision without infrared lights is basically useless.

I am out a couple hundred dollars so I am not happy. I bought the home security hub and sensors and the 24/7 monitoring. It worked great for 2 months then they did something and all we could see on our phones was an ad to upgrade our plans. After several sessions with customer service I quit. I told the agent to cancel our subscription and she advised we would get no refund. OK, no problem, I told her go ahead and cancel and I got another supplier, 10 months later they billed me for another year! I told them I had clearly canceled and moved on but they are planning to hold on to my $107.49. This is a terrible company and there are many similar stories on the BBB pages. Avoid Wyze.

Worst customer support ever
Worst customer support ever! I received a camera that was not functional and they would only respond every 24 hours or more and keep asking for information and made me work too hard just to either get a refund or a replacement.
Of course, they have no phone lines for support, because that would mean that have to pay people that speak English.
