I bought a Wyze camera from Amazon and the details of the camera inscription was " you can install out in the rain or put it in a child's room... indoor/outdoor camera.. recent rain event flooded the camera with water and the camera died.. Called Wyze and the rep who answered the phone told me "Wyze was weather proof not water proof".. i said " HUH ! Whats the difference between weather proof and water proof i said rain is weather, something wrong with your brain .. " she couldnt do anything about it since it was only a 30 day guarantee on the camera" and then i told her to " cancel my subscription" she said it was non refundable ..after a long talk with Amazon tonight they decided to refund me the money i paid for the camera.. These people at Wyze are terrible and their product is nothing but trash... don't buy from this company, any of their products, you will be sorry!.. i have bought Wyze plugs as well and now they are all dead... their products are trash.. dont buy from them ! For those who thinks we are insane about Wyze products? Just wait til it happens to you and you are going to see you were wrong to think this company could be trusted.. Wyze is a fraudulent company be aware and wary of them... you people out there who cant get your money back from Wyze.., call your credit card comp they will help and don't take no for an answer... also you can go to your state attorney consumer affairs as well and they will get your momey back from them.. thanks Trustpilot

WYZE took my monthly subscription and after one month, the service promptly stopped! I called and after two calls lasting nearly 30 minutes, they could not help. Cameras were functional as was the internet, but they stopped streaming to my cell phone. The "Live chat" is a lie as it is a robot and no answers. To call, you have to search google and when you get through, they will not help. I advised I have no issues with paying but I expect a service to be uninterrupted. They "do apologize" for the inconvenience but state 24-48 hours before they get back to you. They will NEVER give a time frame to resolve! When I asked if service would return to normal within a month, they could not answer. The President of WYZE must be laughing all the way to the bank as he receives payment but offers NO service. Quite possibly the worst service ever. Bernie Madoff has competition!! I guess burglars are having a field day!

Unauthorized charges to my card after cancelling two years ago. The automated chat is worthless and they put you in this circuitous chain of canned questions that you can’t get out of. I constantly request to speak to a live person and the robot continues to avoid. Very poor products and services. I will never use any of their products again.

Wyze has good inexpensive product but customer support is useless when you have a problem. They send you canned checklists when things go wrong and when those don't work, they refer your case to tech support who may or may not get back to you. I recently changed WIFI carriers and couldn't get my 4 cameras to work with new carrier. This a really basic change that should take no time at all. but now I have cameras that don't work at all because i can't connect them to the new network, and I'm still waiting for a response.

I tried contacting Wyze online in the live chat, it was a robot. I call their toll free number, it was disconnected. Called their landline, it rang during business hours. Press this number, press that number. After pressing this that and the other number and waiting for an extended period of time. I finally hung up it was obvious the lights may have been on no one was home. I went through their live chat again, it seemed like a real person was there. After asking several questions of me the person I'm transferring to a secure support line. BIG JOKE !!! It was a page to sign up to talk to a live person, all for a low monthly rate of $55. NO THANKS !!!! Their customer service and customer support is totally worthless. I bought Wyze because a neighbor recommended them, great customer service he said. Well that may have been at one time, but not now !!!

Sent request for refund and did not get reply.If something goes wrong with camera its all robotic online answer which lead nowhere.There is no pro-rate subscription, in other words add another camera no credit for unused months on previous camera.Brand new subscription without credit for unused months on first subscription.Becareful they automatically renew subscription without WARNING YOU. I end up paying for something i no longer use.

There is or was a lot of hype about Wyze a few years ago. Their security cameras seemed to be cutting edge. Now. I think their entire product line is garbage, and I emphatically do not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this sham company. I have had consistent problems with their technology. For example their new outdoor battery cam, the lens fogs in rain and light fog, and yet this camera is IP65 rated. This camera system is utter garbage. There are numerous connectivity issues with all of their products and frankly I’m sick of their garbage. I own several Wyze camera models and none work particularly well. I’ve even purchased their robot vacuum. The vacuum has gone bonkers, it doesn’t vacuum the rooms I selected and it now frequently cleans spots over and over and over, then goes to the next room and does the same thing. Just trash for customer service. I’ve sent several requests for help and I have NEVER received any responses back. So mad. I am buying another Shark Robot Vacuum tomorrow. No more Wyze!

I have been with Wyze for about 3 years. I first got V2 and it was great, upgraded to V3. super cool for the price. Now to today, I just got off the phone with Wyze about my subscription. It appears that my subscription was cancelled due to nonpayment. Updated the payment and tryed to get my subscription back. i called and tried to explain the issue, however, they kept saying that it was under a different subscription. if you are going to charge $100.00 for (99 camera) then claim i never had this. They said that they are going to forward this to a different department. WHAT, now i have to wait for an email from them so i can email them back instead of taking care of this right away. BEWARE, lots of reviews are pointing to this company as not good and im agreeing with them.
