I adopted Wyze (outdoor) coming from Arlo several years ago. Originally they worked fine. I even purchased SD cards to record the goings on. It was shortly after that they switched to no video unless you pay model. I never got the SD cards to work. Any time I get a motion notification the subject is long gone from the frame and due to the run up delay they aren’t in the still image. I just ordered Eufy, hoping to have a better experience. My cameras have been rendered useless unless I pay monthly or I sit with a live feed.

Scam company with glitchy service and always down when I need access. Bogus billing with no way to get refund for unused services. Typical rip off company with the BS auto renewal garbage. No notice that a renewal is taking place. Never deal with this bogus scam company.

For several years now, I’ve used Wyze cameras to monitor my pets as well as my driveway and other areas outside my house. When I first started using the cameras, I was impressed. But now, I’ve given up on them. I’ve updated software, updated my router, even paid for Cam Plus. Nothing improves their performance. At best, I have a 50/50 chance they will work. And that just isn’t good enough. If you’re looking for reliability, don’t choose Wyze.

I don’t have anything good to say about this company. Poor camera service and I signed up for free trial in October 2023 and it continues to renew and charge even after cancellation. I also couldn’t log into account and tried to reset password to no avail. Waited on hold for 30 minutes. They will not allow you to cancel. BEWARE THIS IS A BAD COMPANY!!!!!!

Camera is dead and there is no way to submit a warranty claim. The support email and website all redirect you to a bot that does not work for warranty claims.

Wyze is very dishonest. They withdrew almost $180 from my PayPal for an annual service I did not sign up for. I also did not approve annual withdrawls of funds. They took out the $180 this morning are now stating they do not give refunds.

I am writing a review to warn everyone do not do business with this company. I cancelled my subscription in the summer of 2023 and just got charged a renewal fee for the next year for equipment that I no longer have. I dropped their service because I could never check my account and they offer poor customer service. I tried to log into the account and could not get logged in so I sent for a password reset email twice and have still not received anything to reset my password. I got the bot after an hour to finally take the information and send to an actual person. I received a response saying that they could not refund the money due to the fact that they don't refund any portion of the money that they took today. I wrote them to say that I cannot cancel again because they gave me the directions on how to cancel. But as I stated they do not recognize me in their system from my computer or to reset my password. Please take this as a lesson learned from myself that this is a shoddy company that will do anything to keep your money and not provide a service to you.

Truly awful products and service. It is a fundamental maxim that if a company is to succeed, the first step is to have a good product. Wyze cams are not good products, half the time one cannot login, the other half the feeds are unreliable at best. It is incredible that folks (including me) have bought into the deceptive marketing campaigns and wasted money. You get what you pay for and with Wyze, you'd have better have spent your money on a nanny cam (at least those work!)
