Customer service is a joke. Finally found a number that I could call because Wyze had charged me a duplicate Cam Plus subscription. The rep told me they could cancel the subscription but could not refund my money. I explained that I already had the subscription and this is a duplicate charge. "Carol" would not do anything and refused to let me speak to anyone else. This company needs to be reported for fraud. The rep ended up hanging up. I am taking this issue up elsewhere.

All of these reviews are clearly not looking into the other cam monitoring services that Wyze offers because if they had, they would know that they DON'T have to upgrade to "Cam Plus" for $2.99/month (which just so happens to be THE SAME price as Amazon's "Blink" Security Monitoring Services...). If you go to the tab labeled "Monitoring" in the Wyze app, there is a Monitoring Service called "Cam Plus Lite" and you can move some of your eligible cameras to the "Cam Plus Lite" monitoring service instead of having to pay for "Cam Plus" for $2.99/month or $19.99/year... I know that the Wyze Cam v3 is eligible to be used with Wyze's free monitoring service: "Cam Plus Lite" as well as Wyze Cam v1 & v2, Wyze Cam Pan v1 & v2 and Wyze Cam Outdoor v1 & v2. "Cam Plus Lite" gives you 12 seconds of recording motion and sound events and saves them in your cloud for 2 weeks. The only difference is the length of the videos. So if you pay for the monitoring service from Wyze, which is their "Cam Plus" or higher; you get longer motion and sound event recordings. But then again there is always the option to just stick an SD Card into your camera too and you don't need a subscription at all to be able to use your cameras that way... Wyze is just like every other security camera company that is out there right now, but the thing about Wyze is that it is the most affordable, and also is tested and proven to be the best quality out of all of the other similar brands...

Products don’t last, customer support is a joke. Bulbs went out right after warranty and wyze won’t do anything to help. A bulb should last longer than a year. Had multiple go out all around the same time then have several more that loose connection all the time. Started switching to another brand, so far they work much better. I really thought wyze was going to be a good company.

When I first bought wyze cameras they only recorded 12 seconds, half the time they missed the action and didn't record. Then they added Camera Plus Lite to give me what they first promised. Then it stop working too. Now You have to pay monthly more if you want them to record at all. Now the don't record anything unless you pay extra. I would not have bought them at all knowing how they change what you get. They never did what they sold me on. Now they even do less. And the SD cards don't work after a while. So eventually, sometimes, you can view live if and when the cameras work.

Do not use a Wyze home security system. Customer support is the worst I have ever worked with in my lifetime. I paid for home monitoring and the alarm went off and they don't call the monitoring company. When you try to have them explain why they want you to spend hours trying to submit logs. Then the device logs "weren't available". They just give you the runaround over and over. Never resolve this issue. I have had nothing but trouble with this system for 3 years and I've now just given up. I'm replacing everything with a different company. I suggest you run away from this company. They don't have a clue what they're doing.

When I started with Wyze quite a few years ago, the application worked great using a SD card for recording. When you would choose a date a time from the alerts no problem. Now, they push Cam Plus for a monthly fee any time you want to view a video. If you don’t sign up, the application is basically USELESS. It does not take you to the chosen date/time pushing you to pay the monthly fee. After a recent software update, I can no longer access cameras remotely for the ones I updated. It’s a shame I once liked the company.

Awful. 11 emails and I’m still just getting generic copy paste responses from customer service I have cam light subscription but can’t assign it to the cameras bc of an error code when I select the cameras to add and submit it Customer service can’t comprehend that even with screenshots I’ve called and they don’t have phone support I’ve chatted and they are awful I’ve requested a call back and nothing NO WONDER THE COMPANY WAS HACKED
