I've ordered 7 drives My Book 14TB in May... The order was In Progress status for about 4 weeks and finally cancelled without any reason... So I put the 2nd order for 3 drives 18TB each on the 5th of July... UPS parcel has been sent to UK from Netherlands, but never left Netherlands and returned back due to the lack of custom's information from WD side. It is the 28th of July today... No drives,no money... I called to the Customer Service and they were unable to provide the date when I'll be refunded... It is a one big joke... You've got more confidence buying on Gumtree than buying from Western Digital.

Neue MyCloud. Kein Zugriff per Browser. Support braucht ewig zur ersten Antwort. Diese ist lächerlich will alles schon selbst gemacht. Warte nun wieder....

A few recent order hiccups...
Normally great and always order WD drives from their store, but a recent order got stuck in customs and had to be returned to WD, whilst the replacement order arrived with sealed bag already opened!
Both got refunded eventually, but one took around 5 weeks to sort out and communication via their support ticket system is not exactly quick.
However, their drives are excellent and I will stick with them. (I've had too many issues in the past with a well-known competitor.)

MY BOOK LIVE DUO SECURITY THREAT
MY BOOK LIVE DUO SECURITY THREAT My product is eligible for a return as there is security flaw. There is 3T of data stored on it, WD have told me I need to return it to them, before they offer me a replacement, but that once sent to them the data will be lost. WHERE SHOULD I STORE THE DATA IN THE MEANTIME?????? HOW CAN IT BE THAT NOBODY AT WD HAS THOUGHT THIS PROCESS THROUGH, AND WHY IS THERE NEVER A RESPONSE THROUGH YOUR SUPPORT PORTAL!!!

Awful service
Awful service. Paid for an additional memory for my sons xbox. Company said it was posted out but tracking shows it never arrived. Now having to ask the credit card for a refund due to the company hanging up on me three times in 10 minutes. Wish I had read the other reviews here...

Order never arrived - Rude Customer Service
Order never arrived, only when I checked the tracking number that I found out the order had been returned as they did not provide customs information. Rang customer service to find out what was going on, lady was rude and did not even apologize. Never had a problem with Western Digital before but will now be purchasing from Seagate, wouldn't recommend.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I tried to cancel an order that I had paid next day shipping for. I ordered on a Sunday, called at 8am the next day on a Monday when they opened and he told me "It was too late.". The hard drive didn't even begin to ship till TUESDAY and arrived on Wednesday. Pretty sure it's just one employee handling all the customer service and they are rightfully disgruntled. Get more support techs WD!

Complete Lack of Customer Service when Needed Most!
I ordered the Sandisk 4Tb SSD V2 Drive from Western Digital on July 4th. I am working on a project that requires this drive for completion. I thought rather than ordering from a third party, that I would go right to the source. I spent almost $700 on the product. It shipped on the 6th, and was, according to the tracking on its way from California. Its destination was the East Coast. The package was supposed to arrive on the 12th. For almost four days now the tracking has not been updated and shows that its last location is California. I called UPS twice. The first time was two days ago, and I was told that the package should be on its way. I called again yesterday, as the tracking had still not been updated. I was told this time that it appeared the package was lost or was stuck in the facility. UPS said that they were going to conduct an investigation. I could not afford to wait for this, as I had to complete my project. I then proceeded to spend the rest of my afternoon yesterday chatting/talking with the customer service at Western Digital. First of all, I had to wait forever to speak with a customer service agent; the one time for over twenty minutes, and then they were almost impossible to understand. I am not being rude, but it is very difficult when you are having an issue that needs to be addressed to have another layer of difficulty added to the situation. Regardless, after multiple conversations, and being told that a manager was somehow not available, I ended up being told three different things. First, Western Digital was going to conduct their own investigation which could take days. I was told that they would not and could not mail me a replacement drive, despite the fact that this is the very company that makes the drives, and it was not because the drives were out of stock. Secondly, I was told that they would not issue me a refund until they had completed their investigation, even though it appears that I will never get the drive that they ordered; thus leaving me unable to go out and purchase a different drive so I can attempt to complete my project on time. Finally, I was able to speak with a senior customer service advisor, and I was informed that their logistics team said the package would arrive on time, despite the fact that the shipper, UPS, said that the package was either likely lost or stuck in their facility, and I spoke with UPS yesterday, just before calling Western Digital. To summarize, this drive was absolutely essential for my project; I spent almost $700 on it; I ordered it from Western Digital, the manufacturer, and despite the shipper essentially saying that I will not get my order, I was refused even a refund so I could order from somewhere else. This was a horrible experience that consumed hours of my time, and I write in hopes that Western Digital will attempt to correct this, and to warn others. Please consider this review when placing an order with Western Digital!
