Purchasing a product is fine. Returning a product is unbelievably frustrating. I've been waiting exactly 4 weeks now for my refund and after multiple phone calls and online chats it seem I'm no closer to getting my money back. Absolute shambles of a company.

Ich habe am 01.09.2021 eine externe SSD im WD-Online Store bestellt, die 500 € dafür wurden längst bezahlt, die Ware ist 5 Wochen danach noch immer nicht da. Der Telefon-Support ist nicht erreichbar, Mail-Anfragen werden nicht beantwortet. Es gibt keine Information. Ich denke hier liegt eine betrügerische Masche vor. Kann ich nur von abraten, da mehrere User ähnliche Probleme schildern. Schlechtester Service.

Dont Buy Western Digital products!!!!!! I have a MyCloud Home defected and return twice and returned has reused! And had to pay to return it!! European Union Comsumer Defense will know about this. DONT BUY!!!!!

Habe eine My Cloud Home, wer denkt seine Daten sind sicher ist sicher das er ohne dem Server von WD selbst nicht mehr drann kommt. Was macht eine Cloud da noch sinn die zuhause zu betreiben. Der Service bzw Live Chat kennt nur copy & paste auf fragen gehen Sie nichte ein da ist der Chat schon seitens WD geschlossen.

Ich habe eine WLAN-Festplatte von WD wegen eines Defekts direkt zum deutschen WD-Support eingesendet. Alles kompliziert und mit vielen Vorschriften seitens WD versehen. So habe ich beispielsweise die RMA-Nr. auf drei Seiten des Pakets angebracht, für eine beschleunigte Bearbeitung, haha. Porto war auch selbst zu bezahlen. Dann zwei Wochen nichts gehört, und das RMA-Ticket hatte sich auch nicht verändert. Ich habe den Support-Chat benutzt, wo mir mitgeteilt wurde, das Paket sei nicht aufzufinden. Außerdem Serverprobleme heute. Ja, ne, is klar. Ich solle doch den Einlieferungsbeleg scannen und mailen; der DHL-Tracking-Link schien nicht ausreichend zu sein. Also Beleg gescannt und gemailt. Bin gespannt, wie dieser Murks weitergeht. Aber jämmerlich ist es auf jeden Fall schon. Keine Empfehlung von mir.

I dunno what went wrong with all these people on here but I had a great experience buying my SSD for my PS5. Ordered it with backorder of 2-3 weeks which I was happy with rather than give my money to scalpers on Amazon…. Week later I get a email that it’s shipped 48 hours later it’s arrived fully tracked with UPS. Great product, great price with discount for signing up and would deffo recommend.

The customer support is atrocious, have been waiting 18 days for my refund for a return product they received 24hrs after me sending it. They couldn't even get my paid for delivery to me that fast!!! Missed delivery date by a day, durin which time i reorder the same product at a cheaper price... this time i preempted the day late delivery and was nearly proven right, this one actually never even turned up at all!!! Round the mill with customer services, was told all refunds take up to 10qprking days but here I am 19days later no refund. No call backs since my last contact on 13th Sept and no manager call back as requested. Will never be buying from WD again! Ironically, and much to my chagrin, the product that didn't even turned up was refunded within 24 hrs of notice of their end of investigation... Just flying in the face of their 10days lead time!!!!

Read the other reviews!! This will be the worst customer service experience of your life. It took me over 4 months to complete a simple return, and I had to fight them every step of the way. It was HOURS of headache and stress. Seriously don't buy from these guys, look elsewhere
