advertised a product to be delivered in 4-6 business days. 5 days after order they confirm that they cannot ship the product as they don't have it in stock but fear not, in an unforeseeable future they will randomly ship it and charge you for it. They don't know when but at some point in the future. So if you want to order something that you don't really need, this is the place. Oh, you want to cancel an order that they cannot fulfill? forget about it. Worse support with awful policy. Welcome to Western Digital!

Recently ordered a hard drive I was then days later informed of unknown delivery date I contacted Western digital for the new date no reply then contacted to cancel no reply opened case with PayPal who issued a refund terrible company and customer service

I would give this outfit 0 stars if I could. Products I am sure are very good, sold from a slick website. Customer Service is appalling. They are a large company with large resources at their disposal. Customer Service is more like someone running a business from a shed. Sent item back on 28 Feb, unused, unopened. Heard nothing back. Contacted so called 'Customer Services' on several occasions, fobbed off, promised refunds. Result- nothing. For verification purposes my order number is 0014144351. Do not touch this company. This has been and continues to be an awful experience.

Dreadful company, I won't buy from WD again. They have such a rotten customer service and will not allow you to cancel an order once placed. There is a tick box at the box saying let WD know what you think, if you read the reviews on here it only shows that they don't listen to any customer complaints at all.

Bigger fool me, after bad experience in the past I ordered two items. Four days after placing the orders they are stuck in 'preparing to ship' status. No way to get in touch to query the delay. I have a new camera but no memory card to use it and no idea when/if it'll be shipped. Suspect this will have to go to Paypal for a resolution after a period of time - took over a month the last time. The fact that they never respond to all the bad reviews here shows their interest level in customer service is zero.

So I am on my second WD drive - and my second failed WD Drive. To be fair, when the first one failed a few years ago, they were really helpful. This time, Customer Support was awful. I spent quite a bit of time trying to sort the issue out myself (not connecting) but then called them. They claimed it was a router issue. I then got support for the router and discovered that wasn't the issue. I could connect to the drive but it was unusable. I then took the drive apart and diagnosed a fundamental fault - but, of course, in doing so, I have invalidated my warranty. I'm now paying for a disk recovery service.
