Awful customer service experience. I ordered contact lenses and uploaded my prescription as a guest. It turns out that my prescription was expired so I was asked to upload a new one. But the "upload" button would not work and showed an "error" so I made an account on Warby Parker and uploaded it there. But their system is so fragmented that the customer service rep could not locate my new prescription that I uploaded (which I can see perfectly in my account) and kept blaming me for it...that I didn't upload it properly or I didn't do it today, basically saying I am lying... The whole thing was so confusing because my account did not even show my order, despite my card being charged. The rep was so rude and laxed and did not wanna help in any way, I finally had to speak with another rep and cancel my order. Terrible service would not recommend.

I'm a long time customer of WP, but this pissed me off...
I'm a long time customer of Warby Parker. I appreciate their helpful staff and (typically) reasonable prices for a product that is dominated by a small number of corporations that routinely rip us off. NOT THIS TIME. Not being a habitual purchaser of sunglasses, I had no idea - AND NOBODY IN THE STORE (Market St, Linnfield, MA) PROVIDED THIS INFORMATOIN - that a simple pair of Rx sunglasses would cost OVER $300. Had I been the one wielding the credit card, I would have said NO. But I wasn't...
WP - you've pretty much lost me after this one.

I was extremely disappointed with the service at the Hingham Location
I was extremely disappointed with the service at the Warby Parker location in Hingham, MA. During our Saturday visit, staff helped fix and set up my husband’s account. Because we had forgotten our FSA card, we specifically asked whether everything could be arranged so we could simply return the next day to pay. We also asked if we could complete the order online and were told no—we had to come back in person to pay.
When we returned the next day, the experience quickly became frustrating. One staff member appeared unfamiliar with the system and then informed us that we were missing a measurement needed to complete the purchase. This was confusing and disappointing, considering we had made a point the day before of confirming that everything was ready and that all we would need to do was pay.
When I asked whether this should have been addressed during our Saturday visit, another staff member responded in a very dismissive and abrupt manner, essentially implying that the previous mistake was not his concern. He turned away mid-conversation and ignored my question, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful.
I think the glasses are great and so is the quality. Its the customer service that is terrible.

Warby Parker customer service is…
Warby Parker customer service is horrible. This is now my 2 attempt of getting my refund back for my order. The store is very unorganized with handling refunds. The store employees just pass you back and forth with no explanation nor apology for wasting your time. Keep away from the Downtown Crown location in Maryland.

Alas, the love is gone
Alas, the love is gone.
My first pair of Warby Parker glasses were sunglasses, the day after my LASIK surgery in 2019. I loved them. I lost them. They discontinued them.
I bought my second pair of Warby Parkers on vacation on Venice Beach in 2021. They were called the Sonia, and black. I loved them. I lost them. They discontinued the black ones. WHY? I bought another color, but I don't love them.
My next were a pair of reading glasses. I have no idea why the frames were recommended to me. They were very unflattering. I donated them.
Next, were my favorite glasses of ALL TIME. Aja in Confetti Tortoise. I had Irlen lenses placed in them. Irlen color is light pink and they looked AMAZING. I lost them two years later (heartbreak!!) AND THEY ARE DISCONTINUED. This is how much people love these glasses - people are selling them on Etsy and Ebay for $500 to 600. Why on earth would they discontinue them?
But this next story is the cherry on the cake. I have ADHD which is why I lose glasses so often. That's on me. But this, this story drives me crazy. In 2025 I paid $$$ for an exam and expensive lenses for reading and computer work. The frames were amazing. Dasia in Ristretto Tortoise. But when I came to pick them up the prescription was wrong. They sent them back to fix. AND THEN EMAILED ME TO TELL ME THEY WERE DISCONTINUED.
I asked for a refund.

Warby Parker -- overpriced and managed by outsourced agents
After spending some 15 hours with their outsourced customer service trying to reorder the same glasses I purchased earlier, was finally sent a pair of glasses -- entirely wrong prescription. At first they said I needed to give the glasses they sent a few weeks, because I needed to "break them in and get used to them" before I could actually use them. Then it took two weeks to get a refund. This place was a nightmare.

Run around
Title: Five reps, contradictory information, and a written commitment they refused to honor
I placed an order for three frames on April 29, 2026. Warby Parker contacted me to say one of the three (a rimless style called the Olin) couldn’t be filled because my prescription exceeded their lab’s range for rimless frames. Fine. I cancelled that one frame. The other two — an Olin in Antique Silver and an Arti in Crystal with Polished Gold — were supposed to continue processing.
What followed over the next two weeks was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had with any company:
• On May 14, a rep told me I had cancelled all three frames on May 1. I had not. She fabricated a cancellation that never occurred and used it to explain why my order had stalled.
• On May 15, a second rep acknowledged the prior rep was wrong, told me there was no payment method on file, and asked me to call in. I called and waited on hold for ten minutes before giving up. I emailed back offering my phone number so they could call me.
• A third rep replied that Warby Parker does not make outbound calls and directed me to the same phone number I had already been on hold with.
• Later that night, a fourth rep wrote me a long apology stating, in writing, that my payment information had been on file the entire time and that he would personally place the order with no additional phone calls or steps required. I replied confirming I wanted to proceed.
• Two days later, a fifth rep replied telling me my payment method is not on file and that I need to contact them by phone, text, or chat to provide it again — directly contradicting what I had been promised in writing 48 hours earlier.
Five representatives. Contradictory information at every step. A written commitment that was reversed within two days. An invented cancellation. And at no point did anyone read the thread or honor what the previous rep said.
I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you are considering ordering from Warby Parker, be aware that their email support operates as a series of disconnected handoffs where each rep contradicts the last, and written commitments from their team apparently mean nothing.

Five Stars!
First time using Warby Parker and I couldn't be more pleased! Arrived in 5 days, fit perfectly, best pair of glasses I ever had with a great price on top of it! All the other negative reviews must be from competitors. Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!
