Home try on worked out great
Did the home try on, picked two frames and ordered them with my prescription. They came in about a week, the fit is good and the prescription is right, and it cost way less than my optometrist quoted me.

Awful experience. I ordered two pairs of glasses and paid with the Visa card linked to my Health Savings Account. However, they charged me three times - first for the full order amount, then separately for each pair of glasses. The third charge was declined because I didn’t have enough money in the account to cover double the amount of my order. Customer Service was not helpful. First, I dealt with AI, then spoke with an agent and he told me he couldn’t find an account associated with my email. So, I gave him my order number and he asked for the email address associated with it, so I gave him my email address a second time (I double checked the original and it was correct). I guess he found it the second time. Then he tells me they only charged me for one pair of glasses, but I can see in my transactions that they charged me three times. He offered to process the order again, which would have resulted in my card declining. I ended up canceling my order and I’ll have to monitor my HSA account to make sure the charges drop off and/or are refunded.

Unfortunately, Warby Parker lost my glasses. After several useless attempts, staffers were unable to locate the glasses, while I received multiple emails advising that my glasses were ready for pickup. Waiting for a replacement. Check the reviews before doing business with the illustrious Warby....AWFUL...

I had a terrible experience in their Logan Circle store in Washington DC. When I arrived to check in the customer services representative just started speaking fast and bombarding me with numbers and figures and they were not clear and transparent about what would be covered by insurance and what would not. It was only when I questioned the fees it became apparent they were trying to charge me for extra services not covered by insurance. They then wouldn’t allow me to use my insurance for a contacts prescription as they said I’d used this service. However, this is a brand new policy and never been used until my visit. So they tried charging for the contacts prescription. When I refused to have the photo taken of my eyes which was extra they claimed they might need to “dilate my eyes” and this could blur my vision for 5 hours. The staff seemed unprofessional and more interested in giggling and gossiping than taking care of customers. No wonder the store was empty. I’ll be going elsewhere for my optical care from now on. Really unimpressed.

Ordered 2 pairs of prescription reading glasses simple 1.5 magnification both were unusable blurry vision. My 3.99$ drug store readers at 1.5 are crystal clear. Terrible quality control.

It is very frustrating that Warby does not allow customers to contact their stores directly. I realize Warby wishes to maintain a level of control but as a customer it undercuts my experience with the brand. Not good. I have been a Warby customer for over 2 yrs (with high index progressive glasses) and my initial experiences were very positive. Not so much anymore. I recently ordered new lenses to go into an existing Warby frame. These were my computer/office eyewear. More expensive than I was expecting but I proceeded with an order and paid for expedited service. The service has not been expedited and is now looking like it will be over 3 weeks before I receive my glasses. Based on my complaint, Warby has agreed to refund their charge for expedited service and even that took some effort on my part. My wife and I spend $2,000 annually on eyewear. Warby has lost both of us as future customers.

I wish I could give -1 star. First: I ordered 1.67 lenses, they gave me regular thickness. Second: the customer service woman gaslit me about it "I'm sorry you don't like our 1.67 lenses" my sister in Christ I am sure I'd love your 1.67 lenses... but I've been wearing glasses for 30 years, you didn't give me 1.67. Third: they nearly screwed up my return by giving me one shipping label instead of two (before going to the post office, I had a hunch that I should double check and see if I needed a second label). Fourth: the only gave me a partial refund--not because there was something wrong with the return, they just admitted to screwing up my refund too. It's allegedly so screwed up that the guy said, "I need to ask assistance to the leadership team to check on the status of the order since I could not process a refund for the remaining amount on my end." I have no faith that I will get the rest of my money back. Shame on me for trusting them.

I purchased 2 pair of progressive lenses including 1 pr of sunglasses a little over 6 months ago to the tune of $840. I needed to change the prescription and just wanted use the frame and replace the lenses with the new script and a different tinted lens. The price estimate was $375! I called customer service hoping I could get a price break, but no deal. Pretty disappointed - won't be returning. If you are going to purchase from Warby Parker, get the extended warranty even though it's only for 1 year.
