WalkinpetsReviews of walkinpets.com

This is a fantastic product - sturdy, easy to use, simple to configure - that has given our 100-lb German Shepherd months of walks that he wouldn't have had otherwise (age-related rear leg neuropathy). Fine on pavement, but also in uneven, rutted, and grassy terrain, and even worked great in deep, wet snow. We've had one ring clip break and later saw some bending on a mount pad on one of the extensions. In both cases, Customer Service was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable, and ensured our boy didn't lose his freedom of mobility. Several people have stopped us on our "rolls" to ask about the wheels and we've been happy to share our experience. We also provided a demonstration to our vet, to allow him to recommend Walkin' Wheels to other patients based on his own observations. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Overall great, quick shipping and love that there was specific information on harder to fit dogs like corgis. Would have helped that they were an option from the top though. A little confusing to put together and fit but careful reading of instructions and watching videos helps. Love the adjust ability. Very glad we got the wide belly band. We actually use it without the rear suspension unit as that is much harder to get our girl into. Without it she has to work harder with the back end which is very good in her case. Her vet was concerned that we went to a cart and wanted to make sure we were still making her use her back end as long as possible. This just keeps her from falling over in the back. We have been using it for over a month and while she will never recover from her hip and back issues, this is keeping the muscle strengthened enough she does not need it all the time, just for a good Physical Therapy walk a day.

My Dog loves it He is so happy to be independent

Customer Service is truly the best! They spent so much time with me in so many emails making sure I got the right fit for my dog. Definitely improved her quality of life.!!!

Amazing company! Unfortunately I have bad luck with getting wheel chairs for my dogs. The first one I ordered from them was back in 2017. Before it showed up I had to cancel my order as my dog Achilles passed away. They were so kind, caring and made me feel just a little less horrible with a wonderful postcard hand written to me. It was very touching that a company cared enough to reach out in that manner. More recently we ordered another wheelchair for another dog, we received it and he was able to get around and stopped him from falling. Sadly it only got about 2 weeks worth of use before he took a turn for the worse and we had to make the difficult decision to let our best boy "Matzah" cross the rainbow bridge. Based on my first experience with this company I will never look anywhere else for my pets needs in regards to mobility issues. Real people that care work there and that means a lot to me and it should for everyone else too.

It took me a long time to realize that I had the side bars set too short. Since I stretched them out one more hole, we're back with long walks and a happy dog. It would be helpful to have pictures of short-haired dogs in the device . We love our wheels now!

My best friend Harley, a 100 pound German Shepherd had his hips go out 2 years ago and we made the call to let him use the walking wheels and he lived it it for the entire two years. Tomorrow he will be laid to rest for other issues not related to his hips. He did go thru one set of tires and the front harness but it was normal wear with lots of miles walking & chasing squirrels the best he could. Very good design and it allowed my buddy & I more memorable time to enjoy life and have fun.

We received our wheel chair promptly and it is all as described. The foot "rings" are not very user friendly if your dog has any feeling and mobility in their hind legs. It allowed his legs to slip through and then the thin strap was rubbing/slicing his legs. He is also not a huge fan of being in the wheel chair period, but that is more to do with him being scared than anything to do with the chair itself. As he is slowly losing feeling and control in his hind area from a degenerative spinal issue, we hope he becomes more receptive to the idea. We have been trying to get him in it on a regular basis to take little walks, but those are mostly us forcing him to walk in it.
