I was extremely disappointed. Big, clunky, heavy, thick, hard plastic- no way my elderly cocker spaniel dog could drag this stiff huge brace around. It’s the right size it’s just huge. The paw part tilts down so she was walking on the tip toe and jacked her hip up. It doesn’t make any sense for dog with neurological problems, knuckling, or weakness. They can’t lay down bc it’s so hard and has no give. I made a splint out of a light aluminum finger brace that was perfect and she walked well with it but the wrap wouldn’t stay and so i couldn’t make it stay in place. Then I found this site and thought it was the answer but no. I’m devastated bc now I have no way to help her. The design is just not usable for elderly or weak pets. I have Velcro hock supports but now her back paw is knuckling and there’s nothing soft or pliable in existence that she can wear all day. I’m so sad- this product is just not as advertised and it’s not helpful unless your dog is still strong and can lift paws up high to make up for the downward tilt and thick plastic of the paw part at the base. Plus the return shipping and restocking fee is so expensive and complicated I’m losing money just by trying it. Not worth it at all for us unfortunately .

I unfortunately had to return the dog harness I purchased and they were very accommodating with making the return and offering assistance in the future should I need any other products.

When I first called (before ordering) and needed additional information about a specific product there was a long hold time. I had the option of leaving a voicemail which I did, after several days no one returned my call. It also took a few days for my email to be returned. Here you are desperate for help for your furkid and the response time is too long when you are in this situation needing immediate support. Once I ordered the product and emailed them for additional support, they took awhile again to get back to me. I am still awaiting a question to be answered about a product I need to help my dog.

A bit of trial and error to position the Halo at the angle that works best for my dog. It’s definitely not a one and done. It needs to be repositioned and unbent depending on how determined your dog is to work his way around the house or backyard. I am with him and try to guide him, but like a toddler, he pulls away to do it on his own. He is wagging his tail again and going for walks. This has been a lifesaver. I only need to be able to cinch the front breast plate a little tighter. Might have to order a smaller component to achieve that b

Ordered and it arrived quickly. Had to return it due to dog’s demise, and that went easily.
