Regarding my purchase at Group 1 Volkswagen Lowestoft
I am sharing a factual review regarding my purchase of a Volkswagen Tiguan 2021 1.5 TSI Elegance from this dealership:
• The vehicle was supplied with only one key.
• The front and rear tires were of different brands.
• The vehicle was found to have a faulty reverse gear.
As a resolution could not be reached directly with the dealership, this matter has been formally referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service for a final decision regarding the rejection of the vehicle.

Worst company to deal with in every…
Worst company to deal with in every way!
About two months ago, I started the process of contacting Volkswagen to request my vehicle title so I could transfer everything to a different state. It has now been almost TWO MONTHS, and I am still dealing with the same issue.
Every time I contact them, I’m told the process needs more time or that they never received the fax requesting the title. I have personally faxed the request myself, and the required information has been sent, yet somehow there is always another excuse.
The most frustrating part is the complete lack of accountability. No one seems willing to take responsibility or actually resolve the issue. I have spent countless hours calling, following up, and trying to get something accomplished that should not take this long.
At this point, I am beyond frustrated. I will NEVER purchase another Volkswagen after this experience. If this continues, I’m seriously considering telling them to come pick up the car so I can move on to another brand that actually values its customers and knows how to handle something as basic as a title request.
Absolutely unacceptable customer service and an extremely disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience with vw
Very disappointing experience with Volkswagen.
I purchased my VW brand new about 4 years ago, and it currently has only around 55,000 miles. I expected a much more reliable vehicle, but I started having serious transmission problems. The transmission began having issues shifting properly, and eventually the vehicle could not even reverse normally.
I brought the vehicle to the dealership hoping they would properly diagnose and help resolve the issue. I was told that the transmission needed to be replaced, with a repair cost of around $7,000. I also tried to get Volkswagen to provide goodwill assistance because of the relatively low mileage and the fact that I purchased the vehicle new, but my request was declined.
What makes this experience especially frustrating is that I have taken care of the vehicle and did not expect a major transmission problem at only 55,000 miles. I also felt that my concerns were not handled with the level of customer service I expected from Volkswagen.
I understand that warranties have limitations, but when a major transmission failure happens at 55,000 miles on a vehicle purchased brand new, I expected Volkswagen and the dealership to make a much greater effort to help their customer.
This experience has seriously affected my confidence in Volkswagen and makes me question whether I would purchase another VW in the future. If you are considering buying one, I strongly recommend researching the potential transmission issues and the level of manufacturer assistance available when major problems occur outside of warranty.

Service and quality have gone downhill
This is my second VW. Think quality and service have gone way downhill! So disappointing! Never again will I buy a VW and definitely would not recommend. I bought new. Poor quality tires needed replaced at 24,000 miles. I do not drive fast and yes I had them rotated. Several other repairs and replacements here and there. Overhead console literally fell out and was hanging by wires. Even though it was a known problem with the Tiguans they literally found a reason not to cover it. Lots of rattles and issues at just 75,000 miles now. Every time I do need a repair, they give me an outrageous price and then bring it down acting like they are doing me a favor. Just give me the price straight. Poor quality and poor service.

Would absolutely give it zero stars if…
Would absolutely give it zero stars if I could. When fixing an airbag sensor they either put in the wrong part or installed it wrong and had to order another one. I got my car back smelling like it was on fire and the infotainment center was dead. When they put the new airbag sensor in they refused to fix the infotainment center because they said they found an intact m and m in my HVAC box and that m and m caused a hose to blow which got the infotainment center wet and caused it to blow, purely coincidentally, exactly when they were working on it. Several different AI platforms and several mechanics told me this was a lie. So I called volkswagen. Sent them the data. Sent them the AI research. Told them I had the intact m and m and a letter from the dealership blaming the m and m and stating they returned the intact m and m that had supposedly been inside my car for 10 days while I drove several hundred miles, in the summer, and did not melt. Volkswagen replied with they 100 percent stand by their mechanics 100 percent of the time. Even if they are falsifying documents and committing fraud. If they say it , it is true. Science and logic be dammed. They have zero integrity and i am sickened by the thought I have talked other people into volkswagens.

50K signs of things to come: tech issues
I've had the VW Atlas for 2 years now and for the last 30 days it has been giving me some tech issues. Screen glitches and lags and sometimes goes completely black where I have to turn the car off a few minutes and turn back on to reset it. (Yes I've tried the "hard/soft" reset, 3x.) So I call to check out what to do and just to check the entertainment system for an issue is $195. This is clearly a tech issue with a car that just hit 50K miles and I have to pay to have a tech issue checked. F-ing ridiculous. I will be trying to get out of this asap. Truly noth worth it especially, if this is just at 50K I don't want to find out what else will start going bad next.
