Do not buy a used car here
Do not buy a used car here. Car lasted 3000 Miles and the engine has to be replaced. ($7000 used replacement) dealer not inerested in helping out in any way. Manager just hangs up phone, wont even sell anotjher car at a discounted rate. $12,000 thrown away. Three mechanics claim car had seroius failures for over a year..

We appreciate the opportunity to respond and provide the other side of the situation. First, to clarify, the vehicle was driven for approximately three months and several thousand miles after purchase. If the dealership had been aware of any major engine failure at the time of sale, the vehicle would not reasonably have been driven that distance. At the time of purchase, an extended warranty was offered and declined. Unfortunately, with any used vehicle, mechanical issues can arise after the sale, which is exactly why we recommend extended coverage when it is available. Even so, when the concern was brought to us, we did not turn the customer away. We offered to involve our repair facility in order to help substantially reduce the cost of the repair. The customer requested that the dealership pay for the entire repair, which we did not feel was reasonable given the time and mileage since sale and the declined warranty. We absolutely understand how frustrating unexpected repairs can be. That is why we tried to step in and help reduce the financial impact. There does have to be a balance of responsibility when a used vehicle has been driven for months and for thousands of miles after the sale. Our offer to assist still stands, and we remain willing to help minimize costs through our repair resources. We encourage the customer to contact us directly if they would like to move forward with the assistance we offered.”
