I've had the VW Atlas for 2 years now and for the last 30 days it has been giving me some tech issues. Screen glitches and lags and sometimes goes completely black where I have to turn the car off a few minutes and turn back on to reset it. (Yes I've tried the "hard/soft" reset, 3x.) So I call to check out what to do and just to check the entertainment system for an issue is $195. This is clearly a tech issue with a car that just hit 50K miles and I have to pay to have a tech issue checked. F-ing ridiculous. I will be trying to get out of this asap. Truly noth worth it especially, if this is just at 50K I don't want to find out what else will start going bad next.

They do not stand by their vehicles. Long story short, overhead console in Tiguan was identified as defective as many of these cars had the console literally break and fall off, causing it to hang by the wires. While the said they “extended” the warranty for this they stated I am outside of the 24,000 mile extension. (math doesn’t add up as I had 72,000 mile warranty and my car has 77,000 miles on it now. They said they refuse to cover but they will put it “under review.” In the mean time I would have to wait extended time to hear back. Since I have a job and need a car I don’t have that luxury. Figure they are going to deny coverage for this anyway.

Great cars but vw needs to help its customers maintain their cars. At the dealerships in Southern California the dealers neglect to make proper maintenance repairs and give bad advice like never replacing the manual transmission fluid or the pcv valve. I am scared to buy another VW. What a shame

difficulty in getting anybody to deal with the problem I was relaying to them....even got cut off at one point.It was to do with the Fixed Price Servicing I took out when bought the car not the actual car itself (which I do Love!)

I called this VW of West Islip (New York) dealer about the ID Buzz they advertised online for $47,996. Since I'm out of state, I asked for the out-the-door price. First, “Mariah” tells me they only provide OTD prices if you're at the showroom. But she passes me to Kate Jordan, who immediately hands me off to “Greg”. Greg also waffles on pricing, saying he needs to talk to the general manager and will get back to me. Hours later, I get a text saying they will beat any offer I get in writing from another dealer. Are you kidding me? Why did we all waste each other’s time if you’re just going to run a bait ad, advertise a low price, and never honor it? There are plenty of other VW dealers… go to them and don’t waste your time here with these fools.

This is my last ever VW. I have a VW T6 shuttle 2019 T6, 30k on the clock. MOT and 3rd service picked up on a crank shaft seal weep and slight water pump leak, my garage of choice a registered VW/not actual VW, says it’s the third one they’ve had in, in the last week! Surely I shouldn’t be looking at these sort of issues with only 30k on it? This is just my latest issue of quite a few, local dealer is next to useless, buying something Japanese next. German quality? There is no such thing anymore.

Ich war Jahrelang im Werk in Hannover tätig und habe erlebt, wie das Geld an manche Mitarbeiter verschwendet wird. Manche Herrschaften kommen 2x die Woche ins Werk, spazieren kurz an der Linie vorbei, gehen dann zum "Sport" und gegen Mittag fahren sie wieder nach Hause. Und das für round about 3800€ NETTO ... die Autos wären nur halb so teuer, würden man mehr auf die Gehälter achten. Leiharbeiter geben ihr bestes, um verlängert zu werden. Aber die oberschlauen "Prozessbegleiter" zb bekommen die Kohle hinten rein gesteckt.

Sold my 2017 VW Tiguan R Line today after only 9 months. Out the 9 months I had problems for 6 of them the most prominent problem was the panoramic roof Although the car came with a 2 year manufacturers warranty, when i took to Beadles the main dealer they wanted £180.00 just to look at it. Speaking to VW they said dealers can charge what they want, but surely if it's a warranty issue then there should be no charge. Checking online there seems to be a lot of 2017 Tiguan R Line owners with the same problem. Therefore this is a design fault and the cars need to be recalled.Finally managed to get the dealer I bought the car from to repair it under the warranty and whilst it was there they found a couple of sensors that were also faulty. I lost faith in the car after that and having paid over £21000.00 I have sold it. I am disgusted by the attitude of VW and their main dealer Beadles, what is the point of a warranty when as soon as you have a problem they change the rules. No more VW cars for me
