They boast about their amazing nationwide coverage, but this has not been my experience. If I am not connected to "call on Wi-Fi" at home, I can't understand anyone on the other end and vice versa. When traveling around my city, the connection issues aren't as bad, but data is always SUPER slow or non-existent. I feel trapped to wi-fi and wish they would use the MULTIPLE network feedbacks I have been submitting all over town to make improvements, or at least respond with a reason that they can't.

Just when I thought Verizon was tired of their horrible reviews and FTC fines and was making an effort to be a less offensive consumer company, they went back to their rotten roots. We made the mistake of upgrading our phones with Verizon. Like others we got hammered. Their phones are "locked phones" meaning you are locked into Verizon. Verizon loaded over 70 apps and changed all of our settings on the new phone set up. They then charged us $30x2 for this abusive service. They said our former phone plan was no longer available and we had to take an "unlimited plan" One time UNDEFINED charges of $65 and $28 on top of the other unfair charges, represents the ultimate rotten tech company practices. It took us two weeks and two trips to the Verizon store to get all of the settings and unwanted apps removed or disabled. Still having to deal with Google "enable play" harassing pop ups every minute. I will give Verizon credit for the changes they made to MyVerizon on line app. Much more information is now available and the common billing complaints are being addressed. Customer Service is a new night mare. No more domestic English speaking help desk people. All calls now go to an overseas no English, no knowledge of plans no service contractor. Horrible.

We added a new line during their promotion that would send a phone iPad and I watch at a nice discount. Instead of one they sent two of each item. We tried to send the second set back they wouldn’t take it so we went into their store in Joplin Missouri and they said it was taken care of. It wasn’t we still have the set because they didn’t take it back and we are being charged for both sets full price instead of the promotion. I have spent so much time on the phone I’m done . When we get this stuff paid for we will never use Verizon again. I’m off work and struggling to pay for something we didn’t need.

They are constantly adding costs and overcharging. It’s very difficult to actually talk to a real person there and they are never helpful anyway.

Asked Verizon on why my service kept getting worse. I was informed, because I was a plan that had limited data unless I upgraded and paid them more, my service would not be good. they also penalize someone that does not have 4 lines. Why does someone with 2 lines have to pay 75 for unlimited services, but someone with 4 can pay 55? That makes no sense. There is no reason for that kind of discrimination. Not sure why there they charge so much more than any other carrier. I have had them for 15 years and they seriously do not care. Time to look for a new carrier.

I spent 4 weeks trying to upgrade to the new 16 Pro and after numerous phone calls and multiple visits to the location on State Rd 7 in Wellington Florida this is all I can say. This location has some of the most arrogant male staff members I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with since leaving Miami. In fact, I was so fed up with the blatant machismo that when the service member I was working with began blatantly lying to me about the collaboration between Apple and Verizon I finally called him on it. His response was aggressive and I told the late 20-mid 30 year old man that I don’t accept sass from the students I teach and I absolutely wasn’t going to accept it from him either so he’d better curb his attitude. He told me to leave the store and I told him I’d absolutely do that. After 20 years of loyalty to Verizon I went up the road to T-Mobile where I transferred service for myself, my husband, my mother, and my 2 teens; a total of 11 lines for phones, iPads, and watches. We purchased an Apple 16 Pro Max for each adult and an Apple 14 for the kids. I also persuaded my adult daughter and her husband to switch their service over as well. I don’t teach math or economics but I think that the total loss of revenue might have made it more advantageous for Verizon to get rid of their less congenial employees and work on customer retention instead. I’m a brand loyalist to the core but I unequivocally refuse to reward your lack of customer care and loyalty with my hard earned money.
