Still haven't relied my item that I order. It was supposed to be delivered in 7 to 12 days, I have yet to receive my package.

I bought the top model, the NS5. I then paid for professional installation including using Vantrue hardwire products. But I could not connect with the app. All Support would do is tell me to make a video of what I was trying to do to connect the camera and the app. Which is physically impossible using the same phone. Vantrue Support relies solely on youtube videos, and requiring videos from complaining customers. All they had to do was get on the phone with me for 5 minutes and walk me thru the connection. Instead I spent hours upon hours watching videos. They would not even respond to written questions I composed based on video watching. I finally had to pay a tech guy to get the app to connect and go through the setup for me. This dashcam has lots of features but that's irrelevant if they cannot be easily used by the average consumer. So I spent a lot of money which I should not have done and I do not recommend this dashcam because of the lack of support, except for people in the tech field able to cope with a lot of obstacles. Also agree with others that the app is poorly designed. The latest is that my car battery would not start yesterday morning while the dashcam was in some sort of shut on/shut off cycle which drained the battery. Had to call the tech guy again. (Not to mention the tow guy). This dashcam was an expensive mistake. PS: Support has still not responded to the battery problem question I sent them.

Just upgraded from a n2s to the n5s. N2s was a great Cam but I needed Wi-Fi and rear view camera. N5s is great. I drive a lot and this catches everything inside and outside the car. Resolution and video quality is great. Downloading videos is fast. Once setup, there's nothing else to do. Voice command work well.

The dash cam works well,being able to download to my smartphone is really nice. I gave 4 stars because the unit gets extremely hot. When you touch the cam it feels like it’s going to melt down.

I have purchased two Vantrue units several years apart. They have always had Excellent customer support. If you are looking for a good Dash Cam, I recommend Vantrue.

Buyer Beware!!! Vantrue is a Marketing company. Their customer service people will say anything just to get a sale. Frankly, they do not tell the truth! They routinely provide false and misleading information and when asked about that they parrot back canned or convoluted answers. When you test their answers they either ignore you or change gears onto another product in the hopes that you will give up and just "buy something". Additionally, they make false claims but refuse to make good on their promises after purchase. This company is a marketing scam! Buyer Beware!

Suction did not work. I wasted my money. When I got the suction peice it didn't stick to the window.

Although Ive not had any experience with customer service the products so far are super. They seem to be built solid and work well. The kits come with everything and I'd surely recommend van true. I have one for my truck and my wife's car. So far no problems. The only thing i worry about is I live in South Louisiana and it gets really hot inside the vehicle. I try and protect it as much as possible but still, it's hot. May van true can come up with a cover of some kind for the camera??? Maybe?
