Signed-up for credit card - paid in FULL on a single purchase - TWICE. They would add interest after my payment and not inform me - TWICE. I ended up paying $90 in fees total on a $200 bill. They couldn't figure out the right total when I called the payment center both times, but they sure figured it out fast when I was closing my account. I will never shop at Ulta again.

i bought 2 GWP Murad items which website said they offered - call the 866 CS number and they said no they dont have any more then the regular GWP they were out of - stop advertising false information - i also went in the store and the attitude is if i want GWP to order on line - they really need better people - returning items and buying direct from Murad

Products were never delivered but I was asked to complete a survey regarding my order. I tried the help chat, that just kept referring me to my order status, which told me the order had been stuck in the same place for 7 days after being shipped. I then reached out to customer service via text and heard absolutely nothing back. After a few hours, I sent an email asking about my order status, where the "chatbot" Astrid told me repeatedly that they knew how "eager" I was to receive my order but to have patience because the tracking information was on track and that I needed to wait 2 more business days. I then let them know that I was sent a survey to review the items that I had not received, and that this tells me that the order should have already been delivered. Astrid the chatbot repeated the exact same paragraph that she emailed prior about being eager and did not make any reference to why I was asked to complete a survey at this time. The customer service for Ulta is absolute garbage. I had to reach back out, 2 business days, later to reiterate that my order was still stuck at the same location to get my money back and make my purchase somewhere else.

I had my credit card stolen and the thief charged several merchants with purchases using my card. One of the merchants was Ulta Beauty. I had to work with my bank to remove the fraudulent charges from my account, and because I had the fraudulent Ulta charge removed from my account, Ulta Beauty suspended my online ordering privileges. I called Ulta Beauty numerous times explaining to them that this charge was not mine, but the result of credit card theft and my bank reversed the charge not me. Each time I called I asked to speak to a supervisor, who assured me that they were making notes of everything and would send it to their escalation team. But every time I called to check on the progress I was told they had no record of my previous call. WHAT INCOMPETENCE!!! I finally called the corporate office and spoke to Jacob, an executive escalation officer who assured me that he would take care of things for me, but I never heard from him again and he would not return my calls. There are plenty of other merchants who sell cosmetics so I cancelled my account with Ulta Beauty and will not be purchasing anything further from this incompetent business that apparently does not care about good customer service or relations. I have read other reviews from customers who have had the same problem with them. I would encourage you to take your business to other merchants.

Just recently, I bought two products online. A day cream and a lip gloss. The website stated that I would receive two free products with it, a sample fragrance (0.5 FL.OZ), and a cream sample. Perfect, of course. Last Monday, a box from Ulta arrived. It was a large box, shipped by USPS. It contained: one sample fragrance. A whole box, shipped al the way from Pennsylvania to my house in Virginia for just for one (!) sample fragrance. The rest of the shipment would arrive later. What I really don't understand is what Ulta's guidelines are when it comes to shipping. Why not include the sample fragrance with the entire shipment? This is an absolute waste of resources: packaging (the box made out of carton, which is filled with plastic), the shipping. What a waste! I don't understand this at all, and it's a good reason for me not to shop at Ulta in the future. Ulta, please be more climate conscious and do something about this!

I went in to Ulta Beauty today near Macy’s I had not been there before as I’m visiting from Europe and but my products in Sephora when I’m in America I liked the hourglass foundation and asked for a sample the girls was extremely rude and said we don’t do samples and walked away I went across to Sephora near Macy’s the girl there was so helpful and gave me a sample of Hourglass Veil no7 I bought many beauty products in Sephora while I’ve been here Don’t waste your time going to Ulta Beauty Sephora has Better beauty products Better mini products to buy You can try on makeup and beauty products and there are mirrors and cleansing products to take the make up off so you can try on I will be back to Sephora tomorrow

You guys need to stop asking for people to sign up for so much stuff at checkout. I don’t like coming to ulta for the fact I know they’re going to talk about rewards or signing up for a card or something. It’s honestly just annoying and makes everyone feel uncomfortable and insecure.
