They lied. I specifically asked for a tubing mascara and they directed me to cliniquefit mascara. There is nothing on the packaging that states tubing so, again, I asked if it was a tubing mascara and I was assured it was. Should have Googled it right there in the store but I trusted them to know their products. Never again. Will ALWAYS do a Google search myself from here on out. Will not encourage anyone to go there. Buy off Amazon. I hadn't stepped foot in an ulta in quite a while and most definitely won't after this blatant lie (or ignorance on their part they should have fessed up to)

I went to the Ulta in Grandville today and Amelia was an amazing help! She didn’t hesitate to show me the area where I could find the products I was looking for, but also helped explain the benefits of different products as well! I definitely would have left with the wrong stuff if it wasn’t for her!

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR COLORED HERE! I should have read the reviews before I decided to do my hair color here. After a different Ulta Store cancelled my appointment in Park Meadows I was referred to get my hair colored at this store. I have blonde hair and needed to go just a shade darker blonde for the Fall. I even brought in extensions with the color I wanted. I left with red/dark brown hair from this salon. It was late in the evening and the stylists could not fix my hair. The next morning the store general manager called me (Cassandra) and told me that they couldn't get me in to fix this disaster at any location until the next day. Plus I would need to pay for my next service. I spent 3 hours at the salon and would need to spend another 3 hours getting it fixed. I am a single mom of an 18 month old. Getting that much time away is almost impossible. Long story short, please go somewhere else, this place is over priced and you will not have a good experience as you may want to be a blonde but walk out a brunette, with no one taking responsibility for it but just tell you that your hair took color differently.

I went in for long straight silver hair refreshing aka root job.... the first time or six was fine. It took a year and thousands of dollars to obtain the color and condition. It got there and was so pretty! Truly stunning silver. Beautiful. In refreshing my roots this last time, I left with at least 40-50%? of my long hair burnt off and falling out. Most burned off pieces of hair are maybe 2-3 inches long and spike straight up on the crown so no extensions will fix. My hair was bra strap long. It is now ugly bright RED brighter orange on top and rosy ends with burned off bangs that stick up cowlick crazy of all things, choppy, fuzzy and short shoulder length from damage, essentially absolutely ruined for a long time. There is not enough anymore to put in a ponytail it wont hold. Everyday I lose more of it. A brush stroke is full of hair. I cant even wash it and it's been 3 weeks i think? I can only condition it and wash out. No heat at all. No styling. No brushing. Why is it red ? because the options were red, dark brown, or black to cover the mess. I had blonde/silver hair. I cry every single day. They charged me too and no refund even offered by the store manager Michelle. UPDATE****Had to call corporate and write a review to receive communication from anyone for some reason. Was assured I will receive my money back by the salon manager Cori and her district rep .. I've got a tracking number and it's in the mail. Also got a $50 gift card emailed to me. It took a month almost for anyone to realize a refund was in order. With calls and emotional distress and effort my compensation was my money back and a $50 gift card. So I guess they finally earned the one star this site makes you use due to zero not an option. Buy bonder with it and wait for years? Or get a cheap Amazon wig? baseball cap? Ulta has you covered. Literally. Your head anyway. Check out my pics for the story please. They will say I was on prescribed medication and it somehow affected my hair. Same medication I was ever on, nothing new. Besides who isn't on medication? It's an excuse for over processing. My health and hair were both super stable.... And it just conveniently makes it your own fault you lost your own hair. Just know :YOUR HAIR IS WORTH 50 BUCKS TO ULTA when it comes down to it. Better than nothing or paying for it right.👩‍

Just made a purchase today. When I got home, I noticed that there was one item missing so I came back to the store w my receipt. The manager took a look at my receipt and she went to the back to check with the camera to see if the cashier gave me all the items. Then she came back to me and confirmed that she saw the cashier gave me everything. But like I checked my bag at home really carefully and my car but I couldn't find the missing item that's why I spent like 20 mins driving back to the store. This is making me really mad and the service is really bad. Earlier during the day. I brought Ulta stuffs that I bought in an Ulta bag and went around to find something to exchange. The employees (including the manager maybe) hit me up like 10 times asking if everything's okay or if I needed a shopping bag and I had to say no so many times. That's really annoying that they're acting like I'm suspicious or something. Baaad services! I'd not come back

I would give this place zero stars if I could. This place and their customer service is worthless. If you ever have an issue with your order, I hate to break it to you, but you are screwed. They are rude, in store they ignore you, online it’s like you don’t even exist. Their “rewards” (if you want to call it that) are a joke....you’ll never get to utilize them or any coupon they ever send you. They will tell you you can use them online...until you go to do it, then the story changes. Don’t waste your time or money at this joke of a store. Sephora for life.

I placed an online order today, September 6, 2019, between approximately 12:15PM and 12:30PM. At the time I placed the order, I thought I would be able to pick the order up from the store in Altamonte Springs, FL. However, as I worked through the process and finalized it, I realized was not given this option. At this realization, I telephoned customer service at approximately, 12:35PM to ask about the option and was informed by "Aleeza S." that this was not available to pick up at a store. I told her I wanted to cancel the order and that I would just drive to the store to get it today instead of waiting for it by mail. She said it takes 30 minutes to an hour before it hits the system. She said she would send a note to a manager to cancel the order. She said this should happen within an hour. At 2:35PM I received an email from Aleeza S. indicating the order had been processed. This was 2 hours after the fact. That allowed ample time for the order to be cancelled. I have had it with ULTA! Ulta will never have to worry about me as a customer. I will never cross your threshold again! You people can't even keep merchandise stocked properly and you ever have the OPI colors in stock. I will use my purchasing power elsewhere. I am highly disappointed. I have been a longtime customer of Ulta Beauty. This could have been handled and canceled. I gave you ample time to do so. This is the first, second or third time I've been disappointed in Ulta, but it will be the last time.

I’ve been to the marina Pacifica store and the Huntington’s beach store. I’ve noticed they avoid helping African American customers like myself: I’ve been treated rudely and have told that someone else needs to help me. I’ve had ppl say they were too busy to assist me and proceed to help a caucasian customer on several occasions There is a Muslim girl who works at the marina Pacifica location who is the biggest culprit at that location. If Gabriel union is thinking of having her product line at certain ulta locations then she is making a huge mistake as it’s clear to me that some locations don’t want people of color shopping there. I’ve shopped at ulta as it’s close to me but each time I leave feeling that I’m not appreciated or valued as a customer.
