The customer service is horrible! You get the run around and my issue did not get resolved. You call the number provided and you get put on hold for 30 minutes and then they route you to an automated voicemail

Purchased 3 hair care products with 53.00 reward points …. Products made my hair greasy so I wanted to return for a store credit or my points reissued… Ulta said their policies did not allow either and all they could give me was 7.50 ….. DO NOT USE reward points to try a new product you may not like because you will be screwed …. I even tried to contact them by phone and the rude customer service member told me the stores have policies …. I asked if they could tell me the policies and they said they did not have them ……….. what ?!?!?!? They have lost another loyal customer!!!!! I will be closing my credit account with them

Switching to Sephora! Placed an order the other day during the skin care specials. The items are 50% off. Today I went to my app to see if items shipped and the order wasn’t there. Called customer service and was on with them for 40 minutes while they tried to find it. Was told there could’ve been a computer glitch. Asked to speak to supervisor and was told by Jessica (the supervisor) that they can’t honor my order and I would have to pay full price! All she kept saying was “I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do.” I’ve been a diamond member and have been for over 5 years. I buy a lot of products from ulta! I have never asked them to honor a price adjustment esp for an item I did purchase during the special! Being a loyalty customer for all these years I would expect them to have given me the benefit of the doubt and honor the sale price of the order I placed that somehow now can’t be found! Ulta just lost a loyal customer.

Unhappy about not accepting a $3.50 coupon because of the product that I purchased did not qualify. I could've gotten the product anywhere else for the same price but chose to go to ULTA because of the discount. I suppose they'd rather lose a customer than extend the discount. No incentive to shop here since Kohl's offers Kohl's cash.

While the staff was nice enough at my recent visit to Ulta, my concern is that the last few times I’ve gone there no one I ask for help from knows anything about the products. It’s disappointing because a store that’s charging that much for cosmetics should not have clueless staff when a customer asks a simple question on something like semipermanent hair dye. I expect this kind of thing at understaffed Big Box stores but not at Ulta. I know the reasons. Everywhere is understaffed. But I’d grown to love the great service at Ulta and the knowledgeable staff they used to have.

I will never order from Ulta again. I placed an order on 12/29/21. Haven’t received it yet. I received a shipping notification and even surveys about the products. Such a joke. Their customer service is the worst ever! NEVER AGAIN!!

The reason I shop here was because of the cash points, but the return policy is not good. Yes they let you return the item if it doesn't work out, but steal point away and a few hundred points. For this I will start to shop at Nordstrom that has better return policy and Sephora.
