So it gets tiring when you have a pain med you get over a year and you are constantly having to make a prior authorization every three months. Sometimes I’m having to pay out of pocket because you fools are always needing a prior authorization

Most doctors will not use United because of the service issues. Today I called to try to find a provider, because all names of providers they provided on their website (I was logged in) was incorrect. The providers did not work at the offices and never had. I then went online to try to figure it out and was chatting with 3 different people before they cut me off. Then I called and the person gave me totally different information. It said there would be a survey at the end but the person on the line wouldn't end our call so it would proceed to the survey. Terrible service. Network is EXTREMELY limited since most offices will not work with United.

My mother has UHC as her insurance and since switching to Synapse to get her oxygen related supplies, it’s been awful! Having to call three weeks in a row to get just the basic oxygen that she needs to breathe is ridiculous. This is an ongoing issue and getting any supplies for her for her BiPAP machine, her nebulizer and her oxygen it takes an act of God to get anything accomplished. When you call you get a person that speaks good English, you can understand and they transfer you to someone you can barely understand. I know it has to be very difficult if an elderly person calls. I’ve read the reviews. United healthcare knows, but this is an issue and for them not to fix the problem is awful. They don’t value their customers. They value the dollar. Also, I should note the only reason why I left one star is because that’s the only way I can leave a review. If you are someone you know, depends on oxygen related applies to breathe. I do not recommend United healthcare.

United Healthcare are criminals in so many ways. I have reported them to the CA insurance commissioner, Medicare fraud department without any relief or investigation. Stay FAR away if you need Healthcare or are a provider.

This insurance is trash, even it doesn’t deserve to 1 star. Costumer service gives wrong information, wrong doctors’ info, wrong plans’ info. Good doctors hate working with them, that’s why its doctors are new grads or with very bad reviews . I just don’t know what to do. For me all doors are closed for my treatment .

United Healthcare is a horrible fraudulent insurance company, I cancelled my insurance in July, the very next day it was purchased, money was taken out of my account, but was refunded the next day, then they take money out again in September that I didn’t authorize, putting my bank account in the negative, no insurance for 2mo, called them gave me the run around, telling me to appeal, had to call my bank to stop payment on all transactions from United Healthcare, I still prevail in the end.😀 Consumers beware(Unjust do not prosper)

My doctor sent a prior authorization for my prescription and I appealed as we to get my medication approved, I spoke to a supervisor at united health care and asked her if I would have to go through all this process , she stated no because it was appealed and the insurance already approved it. A month later my doctor sent the refill , Duane read stated insurance issues on the Walgreens app , so I called united health as a write this review still on hold for an hour, nobody has come to the phone or nothing. I have anxiety and stress as it is , I want to jump off a bridge, the worst disgraceful insurance company !!!! F OFF!!!

Medicare Advantage plan sucks. Very limited doctor choice that narrowed during the year, overwhelming paperwork, extreme hassles over required referrals to specialists, no customer service. Can't wait to escape from this hell.
