They only get 1 star because I have to assign one. We spoke with UHC and person after person showed attitude and rudeness. It was astonishing that a professional company would respond like that. Even the supervisor! So glad we don't have UHC anymore.

If I could rate this dogbreath company I would rate it less than 1 star. Don't waste your time or your money. Their coverage is terrible. They are overpriced. The customer service sucks. I had received an email about payment not going through when it was pulled out my account. The first person I talked to suggested I called the bank, and gave me a confirmation number, so that when I called back, whomever I spoke to would be informed of my situation. (I could also barely hear and understand them, and could hear people in the background.) There wasnt a direct line to speak to whomever was helping me again. I called my bank, and my banker was going to stay on the line to give them the trace number to verify that the payment had come out of my account and they **Had** received it. By the time I got back through their "press a number" menu options, waited for the next rep, and got my situation re-explained(confirmation number did absolutely zero), my bank rep had hung up. (I am upset at them too. She could have waited on the line.) The girl on the line, then gave me another customer service number to call. So after calling them and getting through their "press a number" menu, I spoke to another representative that said, "no, your payment did go through, sorry about the confusion." Once again, she was hard to understand and there was a lot of background noise. So not only did I not get it resolved, they also lied to me, and my account was double drawn this month to cover the past due balance that I had already paid. Literally paying out of your pocket for medical care is better than having these guys as insurance.

The customer service department consists of foreigners that cannot speak or write in English. All they can do successfully is send denial letters even though the procedures are covered. Don't expect them to pay for any dental work even though they offer $1,000.00 dental. Cataract surgery is covered but you'll pay $195 deductable and the full cost for any stigmatism! They should not be allowed to offer insurance...all they do is take your money.

When you use uhc to schedule your uber ride and request a big car there is NO guarantee you will get one. Awful service another UHC disappointnent!!

If I could give united health care a 0 I would. I told them back in January 2026 that I was switching providers. Did they listen. No they didn't. I have called about several issues but they never took care of them. I speak very good English. But most of them where people who could not speak English. This is the main reason I moved on. They need to hire people who speak just ENGLISH.

I am new with them. It is difficult to get the correct help. I have been trying to add my husband to my plan. They send the wrong application via email. that takes three days to send an email. the phone people are like a remote out of USA answer system that tell me it sent the application. never receive it. I cant even get them to add a customer. Its horrible customer service.
