Thank you for sharing your feedback. The original Trashie Cash, previously Closet Cash, was tied specifically to the For Days retail store. When For Days transitioned away from selling its own clothing and into a marketplace model, that store-credit structure changed with it. Today, the Take Back Bag program operates through Trashie.io, where participants earn points that can be redeemed for gift cards and partner offers instead of clothing credit. These changes were communicated to customers ahead of time as the program evolved. The cost of each Take Back Bag helps cover return shipping, sorting, and the responsible processing of textiles, including distributing usable items to charity partners. Points are provided as a benefit of participation and are not intended to reimburse the cost of the bag. To be clear, calling this a scam is not accurate. Reward values and redemption requirements are shown before redemption, and our Terms and Conditions note that the rewards program may change over time. We’re sorry the updates weren’t what you expected, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
